In Cookie Run Kingdom, Devsisters often releases a smaller, supporting Cookie character with each major update, alongside the main Cookie. We’ve seen this with pairings like Pavlova Cookie and Eternal Sugar Cookie, and Salt Cellar Cookie with Silent Salt Cookie. These sidekick Cookies are enjoyable to play, especially when teamed up with the Cookie they’re linked to, where they significantly boost performance in easier game modes.
The latest update celebrates the 5th Anniversary and introduces Mold Dough Cookie, who is closely linked to the Dark Enchantress Cookie. While they both deal the same type of elemental damage, Mold Dough Cookie plays quite differently in the Arena. If you’ve unlocked him, this guide will show you the best Topping and Beascuit combination to maximize his potential in Cookie Run Kingdom.
Mold Dough Cookie Skills and Abilities in Cookie Run Kingdom, Explained
Mold Dough Cookie is a powerful tank who protects his team by taking the brunt of enemy attacks. He bravely charges forward, dealing significant damage – 275.6% – and pushing enemies back. After this initial attack, he finishes with a wide-area burst of damage, making him a strong front-line fighter.
This powerful, villainous Cookie has a special ability called Gem Frenzy. When activated, he takes damage himself – similar to how Dark Enchantress Cookie harms others – causing his own health to decrease. However, while in Gem Frenzy, his regular attacks become much stronger, allowing him to inflict significantly more damage. The trade-off is that he can’t use his main charged skill during this mode.
When you defeat Mold Dough for the first time in Gem Frenzy mode, he doesn’t disappear immediately, allowing him to keep attacking. If he survives this, he’ll be exhausted for 10 seconds – he’ll be stunned, but move faster, and briefly make your whole team invincible. Plus, if you summon Mold Dough using Dark Enchantress Cookie, both he and the Dark Enchantress will deal extra chaos damage when the Dragontongue Brand passive is active.
Best Toppings, Tarts, and Beascuits for Mold Dough Cookie in Cookie Run Kingdom
With Mold Dough Cookie, you can focus entirely on maximizing his attack power with Toppings, unlike Dark Enchantress Cookie. He doesn’t have any limits or drawbacks when it comes to building for damage.
If you’re looking to maximize your Mold Dough Cookie in Cookie Run Kingdom, the best topping choice is five Looming Dark Raspberries. These upgraded versions of Searing Raspberries provide better stats and are readily available in the Event Shop.
If you don’t have Looming Dark toppings, you can use five Searing Raspberry M toppings instead. If your team already has strong defenders and attackers, consider using five pieces of Looming Dark Almond or Solid Almond M to increase the damage resistance your character provides to the team.
When choosing Tarts, the Searing Raspberry Tart M is best if you want to focus on powerful attacks, while the Solid Almond Tart M helps you withstand more damage. For Beascuits, the Legendary Chewy Beascuit with damage resistance stats is a top pick, though you can also prioritize attack speed if you’d like him to attack more quickly.
