So, things have been crazy in Monopoly GO since the Harry Potter sticker album dropped! They recently added a Cash Treasures minigame, but I wasn’t super impressed with the prizes. Luckily, they just released a new digging minigame called Hogwarts Treasures, and this one is way better! The rewards are actually cool Harry Potter-themed stuff, which makes it worth playing.

The Hogwarts Treasures event requires special tokens, and you can earn them by playing the Wizard’s Chess solo event in Monopoly GO. This event began on December 17th and will run for two days, ending on December 19th. Throughout the event, players can collect dice rolls, sticker packs, and, most importantly, tokens to use in Hogwarts Treasures. The main draw of the Wizard’s Chess event in Monopoly GO is the tokens you can earn. You can collect a total of 199 tokens by participating, giving you plenty of chances to win great rewards in the Hogwarts Treasures minigame. These tokens significantly boost your ability to unlock the best prizes.

You don’t have to complete all 62 milestones to collect all the tokens. The 199 tokens are available within the first 53 milestones, so if collecting tokens is your priority, you can stop at milestone 53 and still get everything.

After gathering tokens, you can use them in the Hogwarts Treasures minigame to break tiles and search for hidden treasure. The goal is to uncover all the treasure pieces to complete each level and advance. Completing the game earns you a big reward, including 2,000 dice, a five-star sticker pack, and some in-game cash. Plus, you’ll unlock a special shield when you finish level 22.

Besides the tokens, Monopoly GO‘s Wizard’s Chess event rewards players with a large number of dice rolls. Completing the event will earn you a whopping 18,205 dice, giving you plenty of chances to play!

As you play, you’ll earn sticker packs. There are three to collect in this game, and the best one – a three-star pack – unlocks at level 26. If you’re looking for even better rewards, Hogwarts Treasures offers packs with four- and five-star stickers.

How to Get Points in Wizard’s Chess Monopoly GO

In the Wizard’s Chess event for Monopoly GO, you get points by landing on Chance, Tax, and Utility spaces on the game board. Tax spaces award the most points, which means hitting them will help you progress through the event milestones more quickly.

  • Chance: Two Points
  • Tax: Three Points
  • Utility: Two Points

To make quicker progress, increasing your multiplier is really helpful. I typically use 20x, but if you have a lot of dice, you can try an even higher number. If you’re running low on dice, it’s best to only increase the multiplier when you’re about seven spaces away from a target tile.
