How to Solve the Monster Gate Puzzle in Indiana Jones and The Order of Giants

As an Indiana Jones fan, I found myself in the heart of “Indiana Jones and The Order of Giants,” where towards the game’s end, I stumbled upon the enigmatic Monster Gate puzzle. After successfully eluding the clutches of Ricci’s Basement, I arrived at a captivating location, marked by a grand circular mural adorning the walls. A gathering of cultists, engrossed in a ritualistic ceremony, caught my attention near this mural. To unlock the secrets of the Monster Gate puzzle, I had to first overcome each and every one of these cultists!

To overcome the cultists, consider picking up melee weapons scattered about the surroundings and lure them down various hallways. This method will guide them into narrow passages, significantly simplifying the battle. Once they’re all vanquished, let me explain how to tackle the puzzle at hand.

Put the Tiles on the Monster Gate Mural

In simpler terms, your task is to locate and replace three distinct pieces from the mural that depict different animals. Since each piece corresponds to its respective animal on the mural, arranging them correctly should be quite straightforward.

After all the tiles are correctly placed on the mural, a small hatch will appear below the scorpion emblem at the bottom-left corner. You’ll be able to retrieve a cogwheel from this hatch. To initiate the Monster Gate puzzle, insert this cogwheel into the pedestal positioned in front of the mural.

Rotate the Mural to Identify the Correct Symbols for Animals

First, examine the animals on the four pillars around the room: a scorpion, snake, horse, and raven. You should match these creatures with the painting, and find out which numbers they correspond to there.
