As a dedicated gamer, I’m excitedly awaiting the first significant update for Monster Hunter Wilds, which is scheduled to drop on April 3rd at 8 PM PDT. This exciting new content includes fresh monsters, a seasonal event, and more! However, before we dive into the action, Capcom will be conducting maintenance on the servers to prepare for this new content. Unfortunately, this means there’ll be a brief period when we won’t be able to access online functions, such as multiplayer. To help us plan our gaming time, Capcom has kindly given us advance notice about when Monster Hunter Wilds server downtime will occur.
To ensure a smooth transition with Title Update 1, you might encounter temporary disruptions on Monster Hunter Wilds servers during the specified periods below:
Dates and Times:
[Insert Date(s) and Time(s)]
- March 31st 12 AM PDT – possibility of server interruptions for “a very brief period”
- April 3rd from 3 PM to 8 PM PDT – full server maintenance disrupting online functions, leading up to the release of Title Update 1
Although interruptions are expected to be minimal on March 31st, it’s important to note that from April 3rd, you won’t be able to hunt with your friends for approximately five hours. However, since Monster Hunter World isn’t a game that relies entirely on an online connection or live services, you can still engage in offline aspects of the game during this downtime.
Capcom advises players to log in and claim their Login Bonus and Daily Specials before server maintenance starts, as they won’t be available during the maintenance period. After the maintenance is over, you can download the new content for Monster Hunter Wilds with Title Update 1. To ensure a smooth update to the latest version, it’s best to quit the game once the server maintenance ends around 8 PM PDT on April 3rd.
Monster Hunter Wilds First Major Update Highlights
Due to the server maintenance announcement, numerous players are asking for a comprehensive rundown of the changes coming with the next game update. Although the complete patch notes for this update haven’t been released yet, Capcom has unveiled a preview of what this update and Title Update 2 will contain, highlighting some thrilling new features that gamers can anticipate. As for Title Update 2, scheduled for release in the summer, we don’t have many specifics at the moment, but details about Title Update 1 are already public knowledge.
After the downtime concludes and Update 1 is launched, hunters will encounter two fresh monsters: Mizutsune and Zoh Shia. The Grand Hub will also be accessible for players to assemble. However, other new features won’t be accessible until later in the month, such as the new Festival of Accord: Blossomdance event starting on April 22nd. While we may not yet have the comprehensive list of all bug fixes and improvements, there’s much excitement surrounding the first significant update to Monster Hunter Wilds.
