The rumors were right – Monster Hunter Wilds is getting an update with tougher versions of some of its most challenging monsters! Get ready to gear up and take on these new, dangerous hunts in The Forbidden Lands as part of the anniversary celebration.
Players will soon face a super-powered version of the Guardian, called Zoh Shia, as part of the new Hope of the Ancients Event Quest. Capcom announced this 10-star monster isn’t quite as challenging as an Arch-Tempered monster, but it will still be a tough fight. The quest becomes available on March 4, 2026.
Get ready for a tough battle! Gogmazios, the Specter of War, returns on March 12, 2026, and he’s even more powerful this time. Unlike your first encounter, you’ll be facing him completely alone – no help from other Hunters will be available.
Fashion fans will be excited to hear about some cool new collaborations bringing stylish gear to the game! A new set of armor inspired by Universal Studios Japan will help your Hunter really stand out, and a familiar face has joined the Grand Hub as a chef. Plus, a challenging 10-star Rompopalo monster is now available, designed to encourage more players to give it a try.
It seems like Monster Hunter Wilds will have a lot going on next month as Capcom keeps developing the game. However, there’s still no sign of a Switch 2 version.
