The latest update introduces Arch-tempered Arkveld as a new, ongoing Event Quest. It also increases the maximum difficulty level – 10-stars – to include the toughest monsters in each area: Rey Dau, Uth Duna, Nu Udra, and Jin Dahaad.
Players looking for a real challenge will find a new, difficult Free Challenge Quest in this update. It will feature a series of 10 incredibly tough hunts against the new Arch-tempered monsters. Specifically, a Free Challenge Quest focusing on Arch-tempered Arkveld will be available from March 19th to March 31st.
The anniversary celebration starts with the new update and lasts about a month. Just for logging in during the event, you’ll receive a free item pack, plus a voucher to customize your character and another for your Palico companion. Throughout the month, you can also enjoy past seasonal events – Blossomdance, Flamefete, Dreamspell, and Lumenhymn – each appearing for a week. This is a second chance to experience any events you might have missed before!
This update introduces rewards based on designs created by the community. Players can earn the winning weapon and pendant from the Original Weapon and Pendant Design Contest by completing the Event Quest, ‘Every Hunter’s Dream.’ Once completed, these items will be available to pick up permanently.
A special event connects the game with Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection. By finishing new side quests, you can start missions where you transport eggs. Completing these egg transport missions will reward you with a Royal Palico Rudy Costume α for your Palico, as well as pendants inspired by Monsties.
