As a seasoned Monster Hunter veteran with countless hours spent slaying beasts both terrifying and wondrous, the announcement of Monster Hunter Wilds’ release date has me positively giddy! Having traversed the expansive landscapes of World and Iceborne, I can only imagine what new challenges and creatures await me in this latest installment.
Capcom has officially set the launch date for Monster Hunter Rampage; you can expect it to hit PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S|X, and PC platforms on the 28th of February.
I was thrilled to learn that the release date for Monster Hunter Wilds has been unveiled, during the PlayStation State of Play event in September. The fourth trailer for this game was spectacularly showcased there.
In Monster Hunter Wilds, we get our initial glimpse of Arkveld, the main monster in the narrative. Arkveld is a peculiar creature from an assumed extinct species, characterized by its distinctive, chain-like wings. Following the rescue of a young boy named Nata at the edge of the Forbidden Lands, the Hunter’s Guild creates the Forbidden Lands Research Commission to delve into the enigma surrounding the “White Wraith” that assaulted Nata’s home. To thoroughly explore the Forbidden Lands, the Research Commission sends teams to the area, including the Avis Unit comprising Alma, Gemma, the player’s Hunter, and their Palico, as well as the Astrum unit featuring veteran hunter Olivia who can assist players as a Support Hunter alongside her Palico Athos, biologist Erik, and Werner the engineer.
If you have a Monster Hunter World or Iceborne save you’ll get the following bonuses:

In the latest trailer, viewers got their first glimpse of the colossal beast Uth Duna, rising in the midst of the ominous Scarlet Forest. This forest’s top predator, Uth Duna, camouflages itself using heavy watery secretions produced by its body. Moreover, the audience was given a sneak peek at the new fearsome Wyvern, Quematrice, residing in the Windward Plains. Quematrice emits an inflammable substance that bursts into flames from sparks generated by rubbing its tail against the ground.
So there you have it: Monster Hunter Wilds release date is February 28th, coming to PC (Steam), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series S|X.
