Capcom has officially announced that the initial update for “Monster Hunter World” will roll out on April 4th. The new monster introduced is Mizutsune, while players can also take down the first Arch-Tempered creature, Rey Dau, to acquire fresh Hunter and Felyne Armor. You can watch the trailer below, but be mindful of potential spoilers.
Mizutsune becomes accessible starting at Hunter Rank 21, offering fresh armor and weapon options. The special Event Quest, Arch-Tempered Rey Dau, demands a Hunter Rank of 50 to participate. In response to fan requests, players can now hunt Zoh Shia multiple times and create exclusive armor and weapons using its collected parts.
As an enthusiastic player, I’m thrilled to share that The Grand Hub is now open, a vibrant space where we can socialize, take on Arena and Challenge Quests, and even engage in exciting Event Quests! There’s also the fun-filled Barrel Bowling mini-game and the captivating Diva’s performance to look forward to. Mark your calendars for April 22nd, as the Festival of Accord: Blossomdance kicks off, lasting until May 6th! This special event brings limited-time quests, unique equipment, and plenty more to enjoy!
Beyond what’s already planned, anticipate a fresh collaborative quest from Capcom arriving by the end of May. The series producer, Ryozo Tsujimoto, has hinted at an upcoming Title Update that seems to suggest the comeback of Lagiacrus. Keep an eye out for further updates in the following months.
