Summary
- Monster Hunter Wilds’ first title update is now live.
- The Grand Hub, Mizutsune, and a bunch of new content has been added, along with a series of fixes.
- You no longer need to go inside your tent to restock items.
As a thrilled Monster Hunter fan, I’m ecstatic to share that Monster Hunter Wilds’ Title Update 1 has gracefully touched down, brimming with fresh content! The Grand Hub and Mizutsune are now part of the landscape, but what truly excites me are the High Rank Zoh Shia and Arch Tempered Rey Dau hunts! And let’s not forget the update also brought numerous fixes and quality enhancements to make our gaming experience even smoother.
As a dedicated fan, I can’t help but express my delight over the significant quality-of-life improvement in Title Update 1. Now, instead of venturing inside my tent to transfer items, I can do so directly! This was something we were accustomed to in Monster Hunter World, and it felt odd that Wilds required an additional step for this process. But thankfully, that’s a thing of the past now!
Monster Hunter Wilds Title Update 1 Patch Notes
With this latest update, Monster Hunter Wilds has undergone several enhancements in addition to what was previously mentioned. Among these improvements are new weapons, armor sets, and abilities, as well as an increase in the maximum level for upgrading armor. The Grand Hub now offers a variety of fresh activities such as Barrel Bowling, the Diva, Arena Quest Counter, the Canteen, and the Arm Wrestling Barrel.
New features have been introduced, including Arena Quests. These will be followed by Challenge Quests and Free Challenge Quests at a later time. Your assistant Alma has been given fresh voice lines and a new wardrobe as well. Various adjustments have been made to celebrate the Festival of Harmony.
Regarding the solutions, the update addresses problems in the BBQ Grill, improves controller reactions during dialogue sequences, resolves meal invitation glitches, and, as previously stated, introduces the “Transfer Items” option to the Provisions Stockpile menu, enabling you to replenish items from outside the tent.
Various adjustments have been made to both missions and creatures within the game too. For example, some item-turn-in missions that weren’t functioning properly, the entire game freezing following a Gravios attack, monsters suddenly stopping without apparent reason, and the camera distance being expanded for specific large monsters such as Gore Magala.
Several modifications have been made to weapons, with a focus on the Bowguns, Lance, and Hammer. The defense reduction provided by Rocksteady Mantle has been boosted, and the durations of Mending Mantle and Evasion Mantle have also been extended. Additionally, changes have been made to how close Alma stays during hunts.
These updates and corrections also include a variety of smaller adjustments, such as Login Rewards, system improvements, and bug fixes for minor issues. For more detailed information, check out the complete patch notes.
