Capcom has rolled out an update for Monster Hunter Rise, which includes numerous crucial improvements. This update is labeled version 1.020.02 by Capcom, and for those playing on PlayStation 5, it will be known as Monster Hunter Rise Update 1.020.30.
Prominent solutions address the overly large problem that emerged from the last update, as well as fixing the assignment acceptance glitch for Lagiacrus and Seregios. Additionally, many other improvements have been implemented.
Although the update doesn’t significantly alter the game’s balance, it contains crucial technical improvements that players will appreciate since Capcom was able to roll out the fix promptly.
Monster Hunter Wilds Monster Size Issue and More Resolved in Patch 1.020.030
BUG FIXES AND BALANCE ADJUSTMENTS
– In Chapter 6, Issue 1 (Links in a Chain): I resolved a problem where interacting with Nata occasionally led to the screen darkening and halting progress.
– Fixed an issue where the Seregios assignment could not be reaccepted.
– Fixed an issue where the Lagiacrus assignment could not be reaccepted.
I’ve resolved a problem that occurred when adjusting colors or decorations within Seikret Customization; sometimes it would revert the settings back to their default values. If your settings inadvertently changed to the default color scheme and you haven’t made any additional changes, the original settings will be restored. However, if you’ve modified the settings after the reset, the original settings cannot be retrieved.
– Fixed an issue where Lagiacrus could sometimes appear to be floating through the air.
Revised a problem that occasionally prevented Support Hunters from resurfacing after underwater battles with Lagiacrus during gameplay.
Improved a problem that caused the controls to stop working effectively when battling Lagiacrus either underwater or on land during multiplayer sessions, ensuring smoother gameplay.
– Fixed an issue where Field Survey History could sometimes be lost.
Adjusted a problem where strikes from the Great Sword, Dual Blades, and Heavy Bowgun didn’t always hit accurately when riding Seregios.
Resolved a problem that altered monster sizes within Saved Investigations, returning them back to their original dimensions before the latest update.
I’ll rephrase that for you: They corrected a problem where, when using the Charge Blade’s Power Axe Mode and repeatedly striking with an attack while charging, it would use up more sharpness than was originally planned.
– Fixed an issue where Pop-up Camp site locations would change under certain conditions.
– Fixed other miscellaneous issues.
If it’s been a while since you last played, there was an update, Patch 2, released towards the end of last month. This update introduced some fresh monsters, as well as new layered weapons, among other things.
Once more info about Patch 3 is revealed, we’ll let our readers know.
