Monsters

You can now find Lagiacrus in a special mission! To access this special mission, make sure you’re Hunter Rank (HR) 31 or higher and have successfully completed both the main quest “A World Turned Upside Down” and the side quest “Forest Doshaguma.

As a seasoned gamer, I’ve got some exciting news! Once you hit Hunter Rank (HR) 41 and successfully complete the special Lagiacrus mission, you’ll start encountering a new, tempered version of this formidable creature called Tempered Lagiacrus in your adventures. Get ready to face off against this tougher variant and show it who’s boss!

Seregios has joined as a new character in an additional quest. To access this extra quest, make sure your Hunter Rank (HR) is at least 31 and ensure that you’ve already completed the primary mission titled “World Upside Down.

You can obtain Tempered Seregios once you reach HR (Hunter Rank) 41 or above, following the completion of its exclusive mission.

– Arch-tempered Uth Duna has been added. (It will be made available in a future Event Quest.)

– Tempered monsters will now appear in monster herds.

Player

– New equipment and skills have been added.

– New pendants and stickers have been added.

– New voice lines, pose sets, and gestures have been added.

– New Seikret decorations have been added.

– Hunter and Palico layered weapons have been added.

As a gamer, I’m thrilled to share that the beta variants of Hunter Armor are now accessible within the Layered Armor options! If you’ve previously unlocked any alpha versions, you’ll be happy to know that you’ll receive the beta versions automatically as well. Happy gaming!

– Added new backgrounds, poses, nameplates, and titles to hunter profiles.

Introduced two new Support Characters: Mina with her Sword & Shield, and Fabius wielding a Lance. These characters can join quests following the completion of the main mission “A Hunter’s Pride.” Note that Fabius will only be accessible during a temporary seasonal event.

You can now customize your team at the Quest Counter by choosing which Support Hunters will accompany you during an SOS Flares call.

Bases and Facilities

– Added item boxes outside of the hunter’s tent in each base camp and the Grand Hub.

– Added an outdoor item box as a camp gear option that can be set at Pop-up Camps.

– The Change Lobby Menu can now be accessed at your tent in base camps or Pop-up Camps.

After finishing the Lagiacrus mission, you’re free to change your current handler between Alma and Erik, or you could opt for the reverse as well. This option has been made available to you now.

Now, there’s a new feature in the Provisions Stockpile where you can swap items for seasonal events.

– A new Festival of Accord event will be held from July 23 to August 6, 2025.

During the Festival of Accord, certain elements will be temporarily adjusted: Erik’s and Gemma’s attire, the Handler’s outfit; the Seikret décor, the Diva’s repertoire; the Grand Hub decorations, the Canteen meal options; the Barrel Bowling game and its associated items (Barrel Bowling Bombs).

Barrel Bowling introduces extra prize locations and special adjustments for special occasions, such as holidays or themed events. During these special occasions, Barrel Bowling Bombs function differently compared to their regular large counterparts, offering an exciting twist to the gameplay experience.

Fresh types of temporary rewards, namely “Assistance for Research: Fishing” and “Assistance for Research: Endemic Species,” have been incorporated.

– New ranking categories have been added (fish, endemic life).

Introduced an automatic selection option for Armor Spheres during armor upgrades at the Smithy, simultaneously transforming any surplus points into Armor Sppheres.

Introduced an innovative function whereby Artian weapon reinforcement at the Smithy is automated, selecting appropriate reinforcement materials and transforming surplus points into these same materials.

Miscellaneous

As a fan, I’m thrilled to announce that I’ve discovered an additional quest titled “Trembling Blue Currents”! This captivating adventure becomes accessible once I’ve departed from the Scarlet Forest and ventured into another mesmerizing location. Prior to this, I had to complete the main mission “A World Turned Upside Down” and the side mission “Forest Doshaguma.” Can’t wait to dive in!

A new side mission titled “Clear Skies, Possible Sandstorm” has been included in the game. This mission can be accessed once you have finished the primary mission called “World Upside Down.

You now have a new side quest titled ‘New Fashion, Old Feelings’ at your disposal. To access it, make sure you’ve successfully completed both the main mission ‘A World Turned Upside Down’ and the side mission ‘Smithy’s Seal of Quality.’

An expansion has been incorporated into the Scarlet Forest, accessible only during the additional mission titled “Trembling Blue Currents” at a specific stage.

In the Windward Plains Base Camp, you’ll find a fresh conversation option for Ferdinand. Engage with him, meet the requirements, and voila! You’ll receive a brand new pendant as a reward.

* You can now review the Environmental Summary within the Main Hub, featuring alerts about ongoing events like the Festival of Harmony.

In this example, I’ve aimed to create a more conversational and accessible version of the original sentence while still conveying the same information.

Steam®

A warning message will show up whenever you attempt to run the app if your graphics card drivers aren’t up-to-date, your operating system isn’t supported by our software, or you’re using compatibility mode.

– New customizable keyboard configuration controls have been added.

In the latest update as of June 27th, 2025, both DLSS4 and FSR4 technologies are now compatible for enhancing graphics quality. To utilize DLSS4, you’ll need an NVIDIA RTX 2000 series or more advanced GPU, while FSR4 requires an AMD Radeon 9000 series or newer GPU.

In the frame generation graphics settings, NVIDIA’s Deep Learning Super-Sampling (DLSS) is now available for multi-frame creation. If you own an NVIDIA RTX 5000 series or a superior model, you can adjust the frame multiplication to anywhere between 2 and 4 times, or select “NVIDIA DLSS Auto” which intelligently enables or disables the frame generation function based on the workload.

In the graphics settings, the upscaling and frame generation options have been split, enabling you to adjust frame generation independently of the upscaling setting. For instance, using NVIDIA RTX 3000 hardware, you can opt for NVIDIA DLSS upscaling together with AMD FSR frame generation, or other combined settings like these.

– You can now copy the Lobby ID/Hunter ID via the Start Menu.

– You can now copy the Squad ID via the Squad Menu.

An update includes a fresh graphics option where you can turn off visual distortions that occur due to submerged or molten regions.

– Added a feature that lets you quickly restock the item pouch and ammo pouch.

– The ammo pouch is now automatically restocked when activating an item loadout.

– Added a “Take All” feature to Nata’s Material Retrieval facility.

– Added a “Remove All Decorations” function to the “Edit Decorations” sub-menu.

– Added the ability to check the Squad Leader’s hunter profile from the Squad Card.

Included a feature to showcase the duration of arena quests (as well as similar time-based quests) within the objectives. Now, you can also review your personal best times achieved previously.

– Equipment Appearance can now be viewed via Equipment Info or Palico Info in the Start Menu.

Introduced new features for “Effects” and “Character Customization” within the photo mode. Now, you can choose gestures and poses even when viewing from a first-person perspective.

Introduced a new section called “Non-Arena Quest Completion” in the hunter’s profile, which does not include the total number of weapons used. The previous “All Quests” section has been relocated at the end of the list. Additionally, we’ve provided an option to reset the weapon usage counts from specific quest categories.

You have the option now to erase the “Best Times” information regarding arena quests that you have saved on your hunter account and quest board. Please note, however, that any times submitted for the Expedition Record Board’s rankings cannot be removed.

Here are some new features:
– A “Health Alert” setting.
– A “Permanent Time Display” for specific quests, under the “Display” tab.
– A toggle for “Activating Skills/Items”.
– Information about the “Currently Equipped Talisman’s Effect”.
– A display for “Assistant Hunter’s Damage”.
– Settings for “Excessive Item Collection”.

Monster Hunter Wilds Title Update 2 Balance Adjustments and Bug Fixes

Bases and Facilities

– Resolved a problem that occurred during Barrel Bowling when specific actions were taken, resulting in the game becoming unresponsive.

– Made it less likely for the same Barrel Bowling pin setups to occur on consecutive days.

– Fixed an issue where stumps would sometimes appear floating in the sky in the Grand Hub.

Under inclement weather conditions, you can now make Material Retrieval item requests in Kunafa and Azuz, and the process of collecting items will still move forward despite the adverse weather.

Monsters

– Adjusted how often monsters will discover Pop-up Camps.

– Tempered wounds in future Free Challenge Quests will now be found in fixed locations.

Adjusted a problem that caused the size of the targeted monster to fluctuate whenever a single-attempt investigation was accepted.

Player

General

– You now regain control of your character slightly faster after starting a quest.

Adjustments have been made to make player actions more immediate and smoother, especially when traveling on the Secret mount.

– Crouched movement now also benefits from faster recovery time for the bleeding status effect.

I’ll rephrase that for you: Resolved a problem where the impact of the skill Slicked Blade wouldn’t vanish upon entering or leaving the practice zone.

Resolved an problem occurring when a player held both a Large Barrel Bomb and a Blossom Barrel Bomb. If the player picked up a previously placed Large Barrel Bomb, it would cause multiple types of Large Barrel Bombs to appear in their inventory.

– Resolved a problem that led to characters starting a “run” rather than a “dash” when transitioning from a crouch to a stand and using a single-press dash command.

– Fixed an issue where the webbed state would not be properly removed by Purewasp Delivery.

– Other minor fixes and related adjustments have been made for all weapon actions.

Sword & Shield

In this revised version, the damage and stun strength for Shield Attack, Shield Bash, and Hard Bash have experienced a slight boost.

– Perfect Rush’s finishing portion has had its raw damage slightly increased.

– Adjusted it to make it harder to consecutively chain the Guard Slash move into itself.

– Expanded the timeframe where Sliding Swipe can be dodged slightly.
– Reduced the period during which Sliding Swipe is invincible by a small amount.

– Chop and Side Slash raw damage have been slightly decreased.

– Counter Slash raw damage has been decreased.

– Made a change to prevent the repeated application of Focus Strikes on specific monsters when they are hit on the same wound multiple times accidentally.

Dual Blades

When you’re in Demon Mode immediately following a dodge, you now have the ability to adjust your movement trajectory.

During my Demon Boost moments, linking a dodge with a Blade Dance now extends the combo to a Blade Dance II. However, if my Demon Gauge isn’t sufficient, it will revert back to a standard Blade Dance I.

– Blade Dance II responsiveness has been improved.

– Movement speed during Demon Mode has been increased.

As a gamer, I’m pumped! The power behind my go-to moves like Sixfold Demon Slash, Demon Flurry Rush, and Demon Flurry has been cranked up. Now, those demons better watch out as the raw damage on each swing is more potent than ever!

– Screw Slicer raw damage, elemental scaling, and ailment scaling have been greatly increased.

– Focus Strike: Turning Tide raw damage has been increased.

– Heavenly Blade Dance raw damage has been increased.

In this adjustment, the scaling for both the elemental effects and ailments in Blade Dance has been reduced somewhat. On the other hand, the base or raw damage has been amplified.

As a passionate fan, I’ve noticed an adjustment in my beloved Demon Boost Mode. The raw damage increase seems to have taken a slight dip, but fear not! The boost to elemental scaling has seen a significant uptick, making those elemental attacks even more powerful and strategic.

I’ll rephrase that for you: – Resolved a problem causing the Power Prolonger ability to extend the duration of Demon Boost Mode enhancements beyond their intended length.

– Fixed an issue where the camera would shake unintentionally during Demon Mode.

Long Sword

– Elemental scaling for Crimson Slash II has been significantly increased.

– Raw damage and elemental/ailment scaling for Crimson Slash III has been increased.

– Crimson Slash III now chains faster into Spirit Blade I.

– Spirit Release Slash raw damage has been slightly increased.

– Spirit Roundslash raw damage has been increased when the Spirit Gauge is red.

– Spinning Crimson Slash raw damage has been increased.

– Iai Spirit Slash raw damage has been increased when the Spirit Gauge is white and yellow.

– Elemental/ailment scaling for Crimson Slash I has been decreased.

Hammer

After a successful offset attack, you’re now able to link a specific combo move when the monster is heavily staggered.

– You can now chain from a Focus Blow: Earthquake into a Charged Side Blow.

– Offset effects have been added to Charged Upswing and Mighty Charge Upswing.

– Charge levels now increase faster after chaining into a Charged Step from a dodge.

– Charged Big Bang raw damage has been increased.

– Mighty Charge Slam raw damage and elemental scaling have been increased.

– The hit boxes for certain attacks, such as Big Bang, have been adjusted.

– Fixed an issue where the damage display would appear twice for Big Bang IV.

Hunting Horn

Incorporating Extra Note: Now, the reverb echoes an extra sound right after the initial hit’s impact.

Executing Focus Strike: Now, perfectly timed Reverb creates an Echo Spheroid at the conclusion of the attack. You can avert the Echo Spheroid by maintaining pressure on R2 (PlayStation 5), RT (Xbox), or R key (default, PC) during the action’s final moments.

– Hitting a monster with a single hit of Resounding Melody now triggers a soundwave.

– Your Seikret no longer stops when performing while mounted.

– The damage hitbox for Echo Bubble has been significantly increased.

– The evade window for Offset Melody have been increased.

Resolved a problem where transitioning between different hunting horns resulted in the incorrect showing of melodies that hadn’t been played as Encores yet.

Improved a problem that occasionally prevented successful synchronization of attacks when connecting with Offset Melody.

Resolved a problem that occurred when chained into a Special Performance, preventing stored notes from being correctly reset.

Lance

– You can now chain into a Charge Counter from Focus Strike: Victory Thrust.

– Adjusted the hitbox of Focus Strike: Victory Thrust to make it easier to land.

Adjusted a problem where specific shield strikes within the Focus Strike: Resolve might accidentally heal monster injuries unintentionally.

Gunlance

As a passionate gamer, I recently addressed a fascinating glitch in my favorite game. It was related to the scenario where a critical hit happens during successive strikes of specific actions, like Multi Wyrmstake Full Blast. This glitch unintentionally boosted the likelihood that additional strikes would also be critical hits. Now, everything’s back to normal! 😊

Switch Axe

Now, you can more conveniently tailor the distance between you and monsters when employing Unbridled Slash and Full Release Slash within Focus Mode, as it’s become simpler to do so.

Adjusting the left stick towards your player character’s direction can slightly lessen the effect of the Element Discharge Finisher, which causes a reversal.

Enhances the size of subsequent explosions caused by sword attacks considerably, especially when Element Phials are used.

Enhanced the intensity of subsequent blasts from Unbridled Slash, Full Release Slash, and Axe: Follow-up Morph Slash significantly when employing Elemental Phials.

– Axe: Follow-up Heavy Slam and Axe: Follow-up Morph Slash raw damage has been increased.

As a gamer, I’ve noticed that the gauge for my Nintendo Switch fills up faster now whenever I unleash my basic attacks while wielding the axe!

Enhanced the base damage and Amp Gauge replenishment for the technique “Rising Double Slash” with Axe: Morph, while also decreasing its consumption of the Switch Gauge.

– Sword: Triple Slash raw damage and amp gauge recovery amount have been increased.

– The amount of Switch Gauge consumed when performing Sword: Overhead Slash has been decreased.

I’ll rephrase that for you: The problem has been resolved, where previously the scaling of damage from the Rapid Morph skill wasn’t properly applying to the Jumping Morph Slash when it was used after landing.

Charge Blade

Now, guard points come equipped with Perfect Guard sensing, allowing you to seamlessly transition into the Savage Axe Slash following a successful Perfect Guard from a defensive position.

The raw damage caused by an explosive vial when it links with the enhanced version of the Super Amplified Elemental Discharge from specific moves (like the Amplified Elemental Discharge) has been boosted.

– Raw damage for Amped Element Discharge and Super Amped Element Discharge has been increased.

– Weak Slash, Return Stroke, and Shield Thrust raw damage have been slightly increased.

The strength of the damage dealt by the Element Discharge, Amped Element Discharge, and Super Amped Element Discharge abilities for the axe has been boosted.

– Impact Phial explosion raw damage has been increased while in Sword Boost Mode.

The rapid chaining of Element Discharge now links smoothly with additional fundamental axe techniques such as the Axe: Dash Slam and Axe: Lateral Fade Slash, enhancing their fluidity in combat.

– The raw damage for multi-hit attacks while in Power Axe Mode has been decreased.

Revised the problem where the increase in phial explosion damage from using Element Discharge I or similar moves with an Impact Phial wouldn’t take effect if the phials were already enhanced.

– I resolved a problem that caused the sharpness to drop excessively during a guard point, especially when Elemental Boost was turned on.

As a devoted player, I’ve recently resolved an intriguing glitch related to my beloved Rapid Morph ability. It seemed that the damage amplification from this skill wasn’t accurately applied to specific jump attacks while wielding an axe. Now, it’s all set and ready for some epic battles!

Heavy Bowgun

Enhanced the yield of Ignition Gauge obtained while using Spread Ammo 1 and Spread Ammo 2 during firing, as of June 27th, 2025 update.

– Fixed an issue where it was difficult to evade after firing Slicing Ammo.

Adjusted a problem so that the Burst skill wouldn’t trigger prematurely with less hits than required when using Cluster Bombs or Wyvernblast Ignition.

Bowguns

– Fixed an issue where the skill Airborne would not activate correctly for spread ammo.

Bow

I’ve resolved a problem that caused bow coatings to change unexpectedly to “Unequipped” under specific circumstances.

Support Hunters

Adjusted a problem that caused Support Hunters riding on Seikrets to exit their protective covers prematurely when facing Jin Dahaad’s wide-range attack, exposing them to unnecessary harm.

– Increased the attack power of Support Hunters for when the quest leader is at HR 100 or higher.

– Adjusted the behavior of Support Hunters when mounting a monster.

– Added a follow-up move for when Olivia successfully performs an offset attack.

Seikret

– Improved the speed of response when calling your Seikret.

– Improved the response speed for controlling your Seikret after mounting from a Seikret call.

In auto-ride mode with your Seikret, it used to cause them to loop around the location if you got there before a big monster did. Now, this issue has been resolved.

To enhance the reactivity of items when they’re equipped during specific scenarios, we’ve optimized their functionality as follows:
– Upon changing weapons while mounted
– Immediately after switching to an item following the closure of the map
– Instantaneously upon using one item right after another

– It is now possible to dismount from the Seikret while drifting.

Palico

– Fixed an issue where Palicoes would stop using Vigorwasp Delivery under certain condition

Miscallaenous

System

– Increased the amount of Guild Points awarded for delivering a Wyvern Egg.

– The Skill Info window can now be quickly opened in various screens.

– Changed the Investigations sub-menu option “Delete Investigation” button.

– Renamed the “Available Equipment Details” button under the sub-menus for both Arena Quests and Challenge Quests.

– Food Skills can now be viewed in the Skill Info window via Equipment Info in the Start Menu.

As a gamer, I’ve noticed that now, I can easily check out the specific impacts of my Food Skills right on the Active Skills tab within the Skill Information window.

As a fan, I’m thrilled to share that you can now swiftly accept and embark on a quest straight from a Quest Invitation Notification within your crucial chat alerts!

– I’ve taken away the “skip” feature from significant chat alerts, allowing you to open the map simultaneously without having to clear the notifications first.

Modified the map settings to prevent it from changing levels spontaneously when focusing on a big monster.

Information about the lobby is now easily accessible at the top right corner on both the Start Menu and Quest Counter screens.

– The Monster Field Guide can now be viewed in the Quest Menu while in your tent.

Resolved a problem that allowed decorations not meant for specific slots to still be placed there.

Resolved a problem that caused some nameplates not to show up in the Hunter Profile settings after they were obtained.

Steam®

– Adjusted the amount of VRAM used with texture streaming, resulting in reduced overall VRAM usage.

Corrected a problem where the Estimated Virtual Memory (VRAM) Usage in the Display/Graphics settings was underestimated compared to the real value. This means that the displayed VRAM usage might seem higher, but due to an additional optimization, the actual VRAM usage has been effectively reduced. Consequently, the current minimum and recommended system requirements remain the same.

As a gamer, I’ve tackled a hitch: Now, when adjusting the Distant Shadow Quality in Graphics settings, the VRAM consumption no longer shows false readings. It’s all set and ready to go!

As a gamer, I recently took care of a hitch with the Hunter’s chest armor. You know that option to show armor in Display Settings under Change Appearance? Well, it wasn’t working properly and my Hunter’s chest armor was nowhere to be found. But now, after some tinkering, everything’s back in order and I can once again proudly display my Hunter’s armor as intended!

In the Grand Hub, I addressed a problem that caused the cool-down for mantles to restart whenever actions like consuming food or crafting weapons and armor were performed.

Corrected a problem that caused rapid teleportation within the Training Area to reset specific conditions, like the countdown timers for mantles.

– Improved the response time for using items after exiting a tent.

– Fixed an issue where blocked users were not properly removed from the Followers list.

– Fixed an issue where incorrect icons would appear for offline members in the Member List.

I made a change in the Equipment Appearance menu to ensure that the focused item is now always the layered armor you’ve equipped.

Quests

– Accepting and joining quests will be possible from the quest counter during an Environment Link.

– Made adjustments to reduce interruptions when joining a quest via an invite notification.

– Adjusted the unlock conditions for the “Social Butterfly” Hunter Highlight.

– Resolved a problem that caused an emergency signal (SOS Flare) to be automatically triggered when embarking on a quest, under the conditions of having only one party member and having the automatic SOS Flare option enabled.

I’ll offer a solution that addresses an inconsistency: We improved a problem where the departure animation could get stuck if the associated quest concluded precisely when the animation was playing, preventing players from controlling their characters afterwards.

As a gamer, I recently troubleshot a snag: the Lucky Voucher’s perks wouldn’t show up for the target mission when I was invited to join a quest mid-game by another player using Link Membership. Now it’s all set and running smoothly!

In your personal space during a survey-less session, a situation was resolved where creating a multi-monster hunt (Great Hunt) was still possible, even when one of those monsters wasn’t present in that particular environment.

Adjusted a problem that allowed players to severely decrease a monster’s health using poison or comparable afflictions prior to conducting a Field Investigation.

As a dedicated gamer, I recently tackled a pesky problem that popped up when I completed a Free Challenge Quest without being online. The glitch resulted in my game failing to save correctly, leading to inaccurate rankings at the Quest Counter. Now, it’s all good!

I’ll rephrase that for you: I resolved a problem where the designated monster might not show up during multiple-monster investigations on occasion.

Corrected a problem that occurred when several players entered an Arena Quest at the same time, resulting in inaccurate participant counts being displayed on the rankings.

– New preventative measures have been put in place for invalid or fraudulent investigations.

Any suspiciously fast completion times suspected as fraudulent won’t affect the rankings, and those involved may face temporary account suspension or restricted access to certain features.

Other

– Fixed an issue where some voice lines would not trigger properly.

– Fixed various text issues.

– Fixed other miscellaneous issues.

Given the scope of this patch, don’t be surprised if Capcom releases a follow-up update for it.
