Okay, so some really interesting stuff just leaked online – apparently from a super early version of the next Pokemon games, Generation 10. I’m seeing a weird, almost glitchy animation of Pikachu, which is kinda funny. But the biggest thing? Huge cities! Like, way bigger than anything we’ve seen before in a Pokemon game. And people think we’re getting our first look at the new Professor too. It’s all pretty wild!
Details about the next generation of Pokémon games from Game Freak have slowly been revealed since a large leak in October 2024, nicknamed the “Teraleak.” This leak involved the online publication of internal documents belonging to the Pokémon developer, likely due to a data breach. Reports suggest the new games might be called Pokémon Wind and Wave or simply Winds and Waves.

More leaked materials for the supposed Pokemon Wind and Wave games surfaced in late December 2025. These included a short animation of a Level 30 male Pikachu with a strange, glowing effect that makes it look like it’s changing shape. The person who shared this leak called it a “majin Pikachu.” “Majin” means “demon” or “devil” in Japanese, and was previously speculated to be a code name for a new battle feature in the Gen 10 Pokemon games. An earlier, translated leak suggested this feature might be connected to moves that are affected by the weather.
Latest Pokemon Gen 10 Leaks Roundup
- Bizarre Pikachu animation
- Massive city with eclectic architecture
- Supports an earlier leak claiming Rotom scooter traversal would be part of the Gen 10 games
- Gen 10 Pokemon professor silhouette with a face paintover
- Idyllic island Pokemon Center
The strange Pikachu that was leaked online is likely just a test model for animations, and not a design for the upcoming Generation 10 games. However, its unusual look does support a previous rumor that the new Pokemon Wind and Wave game will feature endless variations of certain Pokemon. While it looks different, the way this Pikachu’s model can be easily changed could be how Game Freak allows for so much variety in the game.
Pokemon Wind and Wave Will Reportedly Feature at Least One Massive City
A newly leaked image depicts a character navigating a sprawling, detailed city. Though some distant buildings appear to be early-stage models, the overall graphics showcase a diverse architectural style, blending modern skyscrapers with traditional landmarks like a pagoda-shaped concrete tower in the center of the image. A Charizard is also visible. The player character, shown as a silhouette, seems to be riding a scooter-like board, which supports previous rumors that the next Pokemon games (Gen 10) will feature a similar traversal method to the Rotom Bike from Sword and Shield, potentially using a ‘Rotom Scooter’.
A newly leaked image shows what appears to be the Professor from the upcoming 10th generation of Pokémon games. He’s an older man, and while the image is mostly a dark outline, details have been added to reveal a full, bushy beard and thick eyebrows. Like previous Pokémon Professors, he’s expected to mentor the player throughout the game’s story. There are also rumors that he’ll be driving a car in the new games.
The latest leaked image reveals an early design for a Pokémon Center on a beautiful tropical island. This likely means the island will be one of the 15 or so larger islands in the upcoming Pokémon Wind and Wave games. While there will be many smaller islands as well – around 54 in total – it’s also been suggested that some islands will be created randomly, adding to the locations designed by the game developers. We expect an official announcement of these Generation 10 Pokémon games on Pokémon Day next year, February 27, 2026.
