More Pokémon TCG Ascended Heroes Secret Rares Revealed in Japan

With the release of the Ascended Heroes Pokémon Trading Card Game set getting closer, more of the set’s rare and collectible cards are being revealed in Japan.

The new Pokémon Trading Card Game set, Ascended Heroes, is combining cards from two Japanese sets: Mega Dream ex, which is already out, and Start Deck 100 Battle Collection, releasing this Friday. More details about the Battle Collection set have recently been shared.

Japan Start Deck 100 Battle Collection Secret Rares Revealed

Thanks to a report from Pokebeach, we now know which secret rare cards are in the new Japanese Start Deck 100. These cards are likely to appear in the upcoming Pokémon TCG set, Ascended Heroes, which is scheduled to be released on Friday.

We’ve already seen some Art Rare cards in great detail, but the recent reveal event showed off many more, including new cards featuring Mega Meganium, Mega Feraligatr, and Mega Emboar.

A new Clefairy featuring Lillie will be released, continuing the series that began with the SIR Clefairy earlier this year. Plus, it might be easier to find these special chase cards in the English version of the set.

Okay, so I just got the Japanese Start Deck 100 Battle Collection, and wow, there are 742 cards in the whole set! Most of them are cards I’ve seen before, which is cool. Each box comes with a pre-built 60-card deck, but here’s the fun part: it’s a total surprise which one of the 100 different themed decks you’re gonna get when you open it. It’s like a lottery!

Finding the rare and valuable cards, known as Hits of Art Rares, isn’t easy, making the chase for them challenging. However, the card packs themselves are reasonably priced at about $6.

Like many cards when they’re translated into English, some of these might be released as special promotional items in certain products, and others will be saved for later sets.
