Characters with a Dark typing will take more and deal less damage from Magic-type combatants, making characters like Kitana, Sindel, and Kung Lao ideal for this battle. In terms of stats, I need to ensure I have at least 45 Health and 35 Defense, which might require me to reallocate some of my stat points to meet these requirements.
When battle commences, I always keep my guard up, especially for two moves Liu Kang tends to pull off. First, he leaps skyward only to slam back down hard – I dodge left or right as soon as I spot him jumping. The second move is a pink ki blast – when that happens, I swiftly maneuver behind him and unleash all my attacks in quick succession.
During the onset of the third phase in our game, I found myself dodging dragon-like missiles that zigzagged horizontally and vertically. These Translucency Fields can be procured from the shop of the Gateway Portal, though it might take a few cycles for the inventory to refresh and display one. As an alternative strategy, players could simply block every projectile section with a low block, followed swiftly by using the Blood Brawler Talisman they received after finishing the IEC GEA Klue, which instantly restores their health.
