Mortal Kombat 1: How to Complete the IEC GEA Klue in Season 8 of Invasion Mode (ICE AGE)

As a dedicated Mortal Kombat fanatic with over a decade under my belt, I can confidently say that solving the IEC GEA Klue in Mortal Kombat 1 is like cracking a code hidden deep within the game’s lore. The thrill of unscrambling the clue and figuring out which Animality to use never gets old.

In Season 8 of Invasion mode for Mortal Kombat 1, there are seven clues to unravel, with the second one hidden in Fengjian Village Mesa. The IEC GEA clue is associated with the Flying High Node situated close to the Mesa’s entrance portal. Much like the other Season 8 clues, it can be resolved by executing a particular Animality move.

To determine which Animality to employ, Mortal Kombat 1 players initially need to decipher the clue that ICE AGE is hidden within IEC GEA. The reference to ice should guide them towards the correct path, even if they are not fully acquainted with all of the Animalities in MK1 yet.

How to Solve the IEC GEA Klue in Mortal Kombat 1

To finish off the IEC GEA Klue challenge, gamers must execute Sub-Zero’s Mammoth Mash Animality. This can be achieved by pressing Down, Forward, Down, Forward while at a moderate distance from the opponent. If performed accurately, Sub-Zero morphs into a woolly mammoth and splits his adversary in half with his tusks and trunk. The gaming screen then reverts to the overworld, causing any debris that was obstructing access to the Klue chest to vanish.

IEC GEA Klue Rewards

As a passionate gamer, I’m thrilled to let you know that upon completing the IEC GEA Klue, I’ll be rewarded with Sub-Zero’s Frigid Madness Skin, the Blood Brawler Rare Talisman, and 100 Seasonal Kredits. For those who might be curious, the Blood Brawler Talisman offers a healing effect when activated, while the Seasonal Kredits can be exchanged for limited-time cosmetics from the Seasonal Store. Following the Khaos Reigns update, these Seasonal Kredits can now be used to purchase new Brutalities for every playable kombatant. However, unlike the time-limited cosmetics and the currency itself, these Brutalities aren’t time-restricted and can still be unlocked even after the current season of Invasions has concluded.
