As a longtime Mortal Kombat fanatic with decades of gaming experience under my belt, I must say that the NO PICNIC BASKET Klue in Season 8 of Invasions Mode has got to be one of the most exciting challenges yet! The reference to Yogi Bear is a delightful throwback for any Hanna Barbera aficionado like myself.
NO PICNIC BASKET is the final Klue in Season 8 of Invasions Mode and can be found in the gated-off section of the Fire Temple Mesa. To reach it, Mortal Kombat 1 players will need to get their hands on the Krown of a God: a Key Item that’s dropped by the Dark Dragon boss.
As a fan, I can’t help but notice that this season’s clues are all connected to Animalities. It quickly dawned on me that the “No Picnic Basket” clue is reminiscent of Yogi Bear, the beloved Hanna Barbera character. Once you’ve made that connection, determining which Animality from Mortal Kombat 1 to use should be a breeze.
How to Solve the NO PICNIC BASKET Klue in Mortal Kombat 1
To crack the NO PICNIC BASKET puzzle in this game, players should execute General Shao’s Bear Necessities Transformation, which involves pressing Back, Down, Down, Back, followed by a Kick (Circle on PlayStation, B on Xbox, or A on Switch). As long as the sequence is entered correctly, General Shao will morph into a bear and begin devouring his opponent. Subsequently, players will find themselves back on the map screen, with any debris obstructing their path to the treasure chest having vanished.
NO PICNIC BASKET Klue Rewards
Solve the puzzle labeled “NO PICNIC BASKET” and you’ll earn the “Scorpion’s Frenzied Warrior Skin”, the “The Hunger Scarce Relic”, and 100 “Seasonal Credits”. The Hunger relic lets players recover half of the damage they inflict from bites and boosts their overall damage by 25%. But, while wearing it, players will sustain continuous Blood damage at a rate of 5% per second. As usual, players can spend their Seasonal Credits in the Seasonal Store to buy limited-time cosmetics and fresh Brutalities.
