Mortal Kombat 1 Takeda Gameplay Trailer Revealed

As a long-time Mortal Kombat fan, I am beyond excited about Ed Boon’s latest announcement! The reveal of Takeda Takahashi’s gameplay trailer has me counting down the days until July 23, 2024. Having played Mortal Kombat X and fondly remembering Takeda from that game, I can’t wait to get my hands on him once again. Plus, the fact that he’ll be joined by Ferra in the Kameo roster is an added bonus!

Today on X’s blog, Ed Boon from NetherRealm Studios unveiled the authentic gameplay trailer for Takeda Takahashi, set to be part of Mortal Kombat 1 come July 23, 2024.

Weeks ago, Boon playfully taunted Takeda, who is the last fighter to join Kombat Pack 1. Fans will have the chance to experiment with this character starting July 23, through Early Access. Early Access can be obtained by either buying the corresponding Kombat Pack or opting for the Mortal Kombat 1 Premium Edition.

As an excited fan, I was thrilled to witness today’s gameplay trailer unveiling glimpses of Takeda’s unique moves, captivating dialogues, and a breathtakingly brutal fatality executed with their iconic weapons.

On July 23rd, Takeda is announced as a new character in Mortal Kombat 1, while Ferra becomes a part of the Kameo roster. Check out the gameplay trailer for a sneak peek!

Based on my experience as a dedicated gamer and follower of the gaming industry, I believe that Takeda’s Early Access release on July 23, 2024, implies that its full version should be out within a week. This is a common practice in the gaming community where developers give fans an early taste of the game to gather feedback and make necessary improvements before the official launch.

At EVO 2024, players will have the opportunity to control Takeda Takahashi in Mortal Kombat X. This character is well-known to fans of the game.

The developers had intended to unveil Ferra’s kameo (skins or forms) last month, but due to delays, it will now be launched together with Takeda next week instead.

Lately, there’s been buzz about a potential Mortal Kombat remaster as a new hint emerged online. The CEO of Eyeballistic, Joe Tresca, fueled speculation by sharing a cryptic screenshot and urging fans to stay tuned for Mortal Kombat-related news.
