- Kameo fighters like Kano and Tremor receive vital updates for better gameplay.
In April 2025, a substantial update for Mortal Kombat 1 has been released across all platforms, introducing numerous changes. This recent Mortal Kombat 1 patch primarily concentrates on adjusting the game’s roster, impacting both playable characters and those summoned by Kameo.
Back in 2023, I got my hands on Mortal Kombat 1, and let me tell you, it’s been an ongoing thrill ride ever since! The latest update in March added T-1000 and Madam Bo to the roster, not to mention a slew of fighter balancing adjustments. But that’s not all – they also enhanced the PC version with a new Ray Tracing Quality option for a more realistic experience and boosted overall performance. Keeping this game fresh has never been easier!
The April 2025 update of Mortal Kombat 1 offers a range of improvements, from technical tweaks to gameplay refinements and roster modifications. Notably, PC gamers will appreciate updated versions of Nvidia DLSS, AMD FSR3, and Intel XeSS for enhanced graphics performance. This update also addresses numerous issues such as improved resolution detection, swifter mouse response, resolved Krossplay match invites, and fewer visual glitches in the Kustomize menu. New features include the ability to purchase Character Mastery with Dragon Krystals, an upgraded AI, and corrected move list translations. Additionally, a fix has been implemented for a rare problem in the Invasions mode where players might become stuck in unusual positions.
Mortal Kombat April Update Brings Key Fighter Balancing
In the updated version of Mortal Kombat 1, several major characters experience significant alterations. For instance, Havik’s Helping Hand and Nether Snatcher abilities now cause 10 less damage per use. Quan Chi’s Enhanced Field of Bones will inflict continuous damage when an adversary is trapped within the bone cage. Sindel experiences a decrease in total health by 50, and her Shear Genius attack’s second hit now connects high instead of mid. Kenshi witnesses a slight increase in Kameo recharge rate, and his Teamwork ability activates 25 frames quicker. Other adjustments ensure that Baraka’s Desperate Tarkatan effect endures correctly during extended matches, and Kitana’s Fan-Nado second hit has been modified to prevent unintended damage escalation.
As a devoted fan, I’m thrilled to share some exciting updates coming our way in Mortal Kombat 1! For instance, Kano’s Eye Laser hitbox will vanish once the visual effect concludes, and Tremor’s AI will be tweaked to utilize a broader spectrum of moves rather than overemphasizing Transmute Up and Down.
In terms of Ferra, she won’t get trapped in her Lackey Variation anymore when Sindel’s Enhanced Queen’s Command interrupts. Furthermore, Madam Bo’s Drink Service and Teahouse Tumble moves have been fine-tuned for accurate collision detection and appropriate cooldown timing.
Lastly, the Tibia Displacer move of T-1000 will now inflict 23 fewer frames of hit stun, shortening the duration it keeps opponents held down.
