Highlights

  • Tower of God‘s diverse and ambitious cast blurs the lines between heroes and villains, adding depth to the story.
  • Characters like Rachel, Yasratcha, Kallavan, Traumerei, Urek Mazino, White, and Zahard embody the darker aspects of the Tower.
  • These menacing figures engage in evil deeds, manipulation, and cruelty, shaping the narrative with their ruthless actions.

As a seasoned scholar of the Tower’s intricate tapestry, I find myself awestruck by the sheer audacity and power that these three individuals exude. Urek Mazino, the walking catastrophe, embodies the essence of defiance against the Tower’s oppressive system. His relentless pursuit of freedom is a testament to the human spirit’s indomitable will, much like a phoenix rising from its own ashes.

After watching the second season of the Tower of God anime, conversations about this fantastic series have reached an all-time high, particularly regarding its remarkable cast. In a world where ambition and power intertwine, it can be challenging to distinguish between a hero and a villain, as their differences are often subtle. The show is filled with a vibrant assortment of characters, each propelled by their unique aspirations and motivations. As a fan, I can’t help but be captivated by the intricate dynamics and compelling narratives that unfold within this world.

As a longtime fan of this captivating series, I can’t help but be drawn to the villainous figures that grace its pages. Having grown up reading and re-reading these tales, I’ve come to appreciate the depth and complexity of the characters who embody malice, cunning, and cruelty. They are the dark heart of the story, the antithesis to the heroes we root for.

7 Rachel

Michelle Light

Most Evil Characters In Tower of God
  • Species: Human
  • Rank: Regular
  • Shinsu Form: Light

It’s not surprising at all that Rachel found her way onto this list, given her behavior towards Baam once they entered the Tower. Everything she did suggests a malevolent nature, and her single act of betrayal against Baam is more than enough evidence for her inclusion here.

According to the series’ creator, SIU, Rachel is portrayed as the female main character. However, this doesn’t necessarily mean she’s a heroine. In fact, she’s shown to be manipulative, ruthless, and sociopathic. This cruel behavior stems from her deep-rooted resentment towards herself for being ordinary. As a result, she has no qualms about betraying or discarding others if it suits her needs, as demonstrated through her interactions with Baam.

6 Lo Po Bia Yasratcha

Corp Commander of the 5th Army Corps

Most Evil Characters In Tower of God
  • Species: Beast Kin
  • Rank: High Ranker
  • Shinsu Form: Light and Gas

Belonging to the influential Lo Po Bia clan, Yasratcha serves as the Commanding Officer of the 5th Army Corps under Zahard’s leadership, standing amongst the army’s most formidable commanders. Portrayed as lethargic and indifferent, Yasratcha is also a malicious and clever figure, sharing similar traits with his superior, Zahard, with one notable distinction: Yasratcha exhibits wild, untamed behaviors.

As a devoted admirer, I can’t help but be in awe of Yasratcha’s commanding presence on the battlefield. Despite his indolent nature, he showcases an unmatched ruthlessness that left half of the Feline populace in its wake. A chilling display indeed, as he manipulated them into turning against each other, a grim spectacle I bore witness to. As a Beastkin, Yasratcha’s focus is solely on the subjugation of his kind, regardless of the consequences that may follow.

5 Kallavan

Human Hunter

Most Evil Characters In Tower of God
  • Species: Human
  • Rank: High Ranker
  • Shinsu Form: N/A

Originally serving as the commander of the 4th Army Corps within Zahard’s military forces, Kallavan was once a High Ranker. However, he lost his high-ranking position due to his failure to eliminate Baam during the events at the Last Station, earning him the role of the central antagonist in this arc.

Kallavan gains the title ‘The Human Hunter’ as he compels everyone to obey him, mimicking his idol, Zahard. His actions are driven by an intense admiration for Zahard. For Kallavan, evil is not a personal choice but rather adhering to the commands of his role model, Zahard.

4 Lo Po Bia Traumerei

Head of the Lo Po Bia Family

Most Evil Characters In Tower of God
  • Species: Human
  • Rank: High Ranker
  • Shinsu Form: Light

Leader of the Lo Po Bia clan, Traumerei, is among the initial thirteen warriors who scaled the Tower, joining forces with Zahard and a dozen others. Much like other High Rankers, Traumerei carries an aura of arrogance and brutality, regarding others as mere inferior beings.

In my perspective, beneath the brash exterior hides a complex character, one who derives a chilling satisfaction from enacting a calculated, cold-hearted brand of wickedness. This individual is both strategically brilliant and deceptively shrewd. Contrary to popular belief, Traumerei prefers to carry out his plans independently rather than leaning on his underlings. This solitary approach only serves to unveil an even more merciless aspect of his personality.

3 Urek Mazino

Ray Barracuda

Most Evil Characters In Tower of God
  • Species: Human
  • Rank: High Ranker
  • Shinsu Form: Light

Urek Mazino, who ranks second only to Zahard in power within the Tower, is essentially a mobile disaster for its residents. He’s known for his ruthlessness and arrogance, often acting on his own impulses, with his ultimate aim being to one day break free from the Tower’s confines.

As a seasoned observer of human behavior and a frequent participant in the intricacies of organizational politics, I have come to appreciate the indomitable spirit of individuals who are driven by a relentless pursuit of their objectives. Urek, with his unyielding determination, is one such person whose story stands out among the crowd. His unquenchable thirst for achievement led him to establish the Wolhaiksong, an organization within the Tower that mirrors the FUG in its structure and influence.

2 White

The Tenth FUG Slayer “White”

Most Evil Characters In Tower of God
  • Species: Human
  • Rank: High Ranker
  • Shinsu Form: Light

Originally comprised of five family members, White emerged as the culmination of these five individuals, including Hoaqin. Spurred by an obsession to surpass their father Arie Hon, they set out to create this entity. White’s intimidating behavior within the Tower led to his inclusion on this list, as he once governed two lands as a FUG Slayer. He grew these kingdoms only to instigate war between them, resulting in over sixty thousand souls being lost in battle, which he then absorbed.

As a gamer, let me put it this way: Driven by an intense desire to outshine my father, I found myself drawn into chilling practices to siphon power from others’ souls. The reason behind my relentless pursuit of the twenty-fifth Baam is that I see him as a potential power battery, ripe for tapping.

1 Zahard

King of the Tower

Most Evil Characters In Tower of God
  • Species: Human
  • Rank: High Ranker
  • Shinsu Form: Light

In this fantasy series, Zahard, known as the ‘King of the Tower,’ is the main villain who holds a divine-like status among the Tower’s inhabitants. As the founder of the Zahard Empire and patriarch of the powerful Zahard Family, which governs the Tower, his influence is unparalleled. His presence within the Tower is akin to that of an indisputable deity.

Aloof and merciless, Zahard commands respect throughout his domain because he prioritizes his objectives above all else, without a second thought for the consequences. His anger is swiftly met with cruelty, making him feared by many. It’s said that despite being their father, the Zahard Princesses are not truly seen as his children, as Zahard appears to lack genuine emotions or affection towards them. This further solidifies his ruthless character.
