Most Underrated Loot Spots On Dam Battlegrounds In ARC Raiders

Each map in ARC Raiders has unique features. When raids begin, players rush to the most promising areas to grab the best items first. But every map also hides some lesser-known spots where players can find valuable loot with less competition from other raiders.

Dam Battlegrounds offers several overlooked areas around the map’s perimeter where you can reliably collect weapon crates while avoiding player-versus-player combat.

Formicai Outpost

In ARC Raiders, the Formicai Outpost is a starting point for raids, found on the southern end of the Dam Battlegrounds map. Inside the outpost’s main building, you have a chance to find a weapon case, usually in the circular room where players begin. What many players don’t know is there’s another weapon case hidden above this room! It takes a little climbing or a Snap Hook to reach, but it’s a great place to find extra loot.

Once players have completed the Formicai Outpost, they can head west towards the Water Towers. Along the way, they’ll find a tall hill containing useful supplies like medical kits, weapons, and other equipment. This makes returning to Formicai Outpost a more rewarding trip.

Water Towers

The Water Towers are a fantastic place to find loot on the Dam Battlegrounds map in ARC Raiders. Located near the Formicai Outpost, they’re a great spot to check out in the southern part of the map. What’s unique about the Water Towers is that they have three weapon crates readily available – you don’t need keys or to solve any puzzles to open them.

When heading into the raid, only bring Ziplines or a Snap Hook – you’ll find weapon crates on top of the towers. Bringing Binoculars is also a good idea so you can scout the towers from below, which will help you conserve Ziplines for future raids.

South Swamp Outpost

Once players have finished searching the Water Towers, they can head northwest to the South Swamp Outpost. This is a large area, often guarded by one or two flying ARC enemies. While the outpost itself doesn’t have much to offer in terms of loot, a round building in the center looks similar to those found at Formicai Outposts.

The circular room often contains weapon crates, and you can find even more on the floor above. What makes these spots great is their proximity to the Baron’s Hatch, giving players a quick and easy way to finish the raid and escape.

Central Swamp

The Central Swamp is a surprisingly good place to find loot in ARC Raiders, but it’s often overlooked. You’ll find it between the Water Treatment Control and the Hydroponic Dome Complex. It usually holds up to three weapon crates, guarded by a Leaper. Plus, it’s right next to the Hydroponic Dome Complex, a risky but rewarding area filled with powerful enemies, including an ARC Rocketeer that occasionally patrols the Swamp. Despite the danger from these enemies, the potential for three weapon crates makes the Central Swamp a worthwhile spot to visit regularly in ARC Raiders.

Pipeline Tower

Pipeline Tower is a good place to find loot, but it’s a bit different from the Formicai Outpost. While the Outpost has weapon crates right next to where enemies appear, you’ll need a Zipline or Snap Hook to get onto the roof of Pipeline Tower. Once you’re up there, you can find up to two weapon crates, along with other useful items and medical supplies.

Pipeline Tower is a surprisingly good spot for finding loot. Many of the nearby areas have a chance to generate weapon crates, making it a great place to start or finish a route focused on collecting them.
