As a long-time Forza Horizon fan and avid gamer, I was dismayed to hear that 15 achievements in Forza Horizon 4 will soon become impossible to earn due to the game’s Festival Playlist coming to an end. Having spent countless hours racing through the beautiful landscapes of Britain and completing various challenges, these achievements hold a special place in my gaming journey.


Starting soon, players of Forza Horizon 4 will miss out on earning fifteen achievements as the Festival Playlist, a key feature of the game, is being discontinued. This decision by developer Playground Games marks the end of their support for the game, which will be taken offline in December.

In the past month, Microsoft surprised certain Xbox Game Pass members who had previously bought add-ons for “Forza Horizon 4” but didn’t own the base game, by providing them with complimentary copies of the game. This ensured they could carry on playing it after the title gets removed from stores and Xbox Game Pass.

As a dedicated fan of the Forza Horizon series, I can’t help but feel a pang of sadness as I approach the end of my time with Forza Horizon 4. It’s been an incredible journey exploring the beautiful open world of Britain, collecting cars, and participating in exhilarating races with fellow enthusiasts. But alas, all good things must come to an end, and 2024 marks the conclusion of this beloved chapter in the series.
