As a long-time gamer and avid MultiVersus player, I’m thrilled to see the announcements for Season 2 of this exciting fighting game. The new skins for characters like Garnet, Black Adam, Steven Universe, Bugs Bunny, Gizmo, Jake, Finn, Superman, and Samurai Jack are a welcome addition to my collection. I’m particularly excited about the Samurai Jack skin, which will be the reward for reaching tier 70 in the battle pass – it brings back fond memories of watching the classic animated series.
MultiVersus has revealed the rewards for the Season 2 battle pass, including new skins for eight characters. MultiVersus returned after a year’s hiatus, bringing players new characters, modes, and events. MultiVersus Season 1 also included a battle pass with new rewards, such as cosmetics for the characters.
LeBron James, Stripe, Jason Voorhees, Reindog, Velma, Jake the Dog, Taz, and Steven Universe were the characters in MultiVersus who received new costumes with the launch of Season 1’s battle pass. Among them, Jason, who made his debut on MultiVersus together with the Joker and Agent Smith, was given two different costumes. The first one is called Matrix Code Jason Voorhees, which gives the character a style reminiscent of the Matrix movie. The second costume is named Uber Jason, which features a futuristic version of the same character. As MultiVersus Season 1 came to an end, the developers unveiled the prizes that players could earn in the upcoming MultiVersus battle pass.

In the second season of MultiVersus, Samurai Jack is set to make his debut as a playable character. Following the introduction of Jason Voorhees in the initial season, Samurai Jack will be accessible at the beginning level of the premium battle pass. The top-tier outfit for the MultiVersus Season 2 pass will reflect the design fans were introduced to during the fifth and final season of Samurai Jack, which aired in 2017.
Beginning on July 23, MultiVersus Season 2 commences, introducing fresh skins alongside an enticing battle pass. Notably, this battle pass includes incentives like banners, profile icons, and badges. Moreover, players can accumulate the in-game currency needed to purchase items by progressing through the battle pass. However, there’s much more in store for the next season of this fighting game. MultiVersus will introduce Ranked Mode with associated rewards, new events, and another character – the legendary Beetlejuice. Additionally, the mid-season will bring the new Teen Titans Tower map.
