In a recent developer update video, Dionous Games and their team at Made From Strings have revealed that the space station murder mystery game, “Murder on Space Station 52,” will be available not just for personal computers, but also for console users.
A space-themed murder mystery adventure is set to arrive on PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch, showcasing intricately drawn graphics. The recently released video offers a sneak peek into the game’s fundamental mechanics and an engaging glimpse of its point-and-click gameplay.
I found myself in an unfamiliar setting when I took on the role of Edward Locke in Murder on Space Station 52. This new repairman of mine discovered that his workspace was a bizarre cosmic labyrinth populated by eccentric individuals, some of whom seemed to have a disturbing habit of leaving lifeless bodies adorned with keys embedded in their wounds. As the days passed, I felt compelled to construct a murder board, meticulously documenting suspects and their connections in an attempt to decipher which among them was the Keychain Killer.
As a gamer, I can tell you that this murder mystery game takes me back to the golden age of adventure games with its point-and-click puzzles. But it’s not just about solving mysteries in the past; it also brings a fresh feel with modern elements. For instance, as I delve deeper into the game, I earn in-game currency that lets me personalize my own apartment and add an intriguing collection of strange creatures to my aquarium.
“Creating Murder On Space Station 52 is a passionate project for me as its developer, Christopher Mathes,” he shared. “I’ve put in countless hours into the game, from drawing the artwork by hand to composing the music score and voicing the majority of characters. I’m confident that this effort will pay off when players become engrossed in the space station’s murder mystery. I’m eager to return soon with more details on when you can expect to join the investigation on Station 52.”
