As a long-time fan who’s seen my fair share of Call of Duty updates, I must say, Season 5 Reloaded left me feeling rather underwhelmed. It feels like we’ve taken a step back instead of moving forward. The new bow and Spear Melee weapon are interesting additions, but they don’t seem to shake up the meta enough to make gameplay exciting.
In this latest development, both Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone Season 5 Reloaded have arrived. However, the response from gamers has been rather subdued due to the perceived scarcity of new content and seemingly insufficient adjustments to the weapon balance in the recent update.
In the middle of the season, we saw some major additions to the game such as the Torque 35 bow, the Spear Melee weapon, along with fresh and recurring game modes like Supreme Resurgence. However, while players are appreciating the new bow, the removal of favorite modes and the absence of new multiplayer maps, top-tier weapons, and substantial balance adjustments have left a bitter aftertaste.
The news outlet ModernWarzone inquired about player opinions regarding the latest season, and one response succinctly stated, “It seems like they didn’t make any changes at all.”

As ‘SilentVQ’, I can’t help but express my disappointment with the latest update. Not a single new map for our beloved 6v6 matches, and the addition of a bow and spear that, in my opinion, fail to impress.

Despite the STG44 and Static-HV getting big nerfs in the update, they’re still among the best guns in the game and the meta has barely changed.
Another streamer, IceManIsaac, called out the “horribly stale/boring” meta following “inconsequential ‘updates’ where they change the damage range on random guns by 4 meters.”
