I haven’t seen Steam do a dedicated PvP (player versus player) game festival before, which is a fun surprise! This list will be a quick overview of several games, rather than in-depth reviews. If you’re looking to grab some new strategy games on sale, this might give you a few ideas.

10 – Wargroove
If you love the Advance Tactics series, or simply enjoy playful, turn-based strategy games, Wargroove is a perfect fit. It’s essentially a fantasy take on Advance Tactics, offering a fantastic campaign and exciting special moves.
9 – DEFCON
DEFCON, though released a while ago, remains a beloved strategy game thanks to its distinctive visual style, which was heavily influenced by the 1983 film Wargames. In the game, players manage a nation’s nuclear weapons, simulating the intense experience of a global nuclear war using submarines, bombers, and missile silos. It’s a dark concept, but it’s become a classic in the strategy genre.
8 – Zephon
If you like Warhammer 40,000: Gladius, you’ll probably enjoy Zephon, the new strategy game from the same developers. It’s a 4X game that emphasizes challenging, tactical battles, blending a cyberpunk setting with elements of eldritch horror. Players have given it very positive reviews, and it’s especially good for playing with others.
