My Hero Academia: All Quirk Powers Of Armored All Might, Explained

As a long-time fan of My Hero Academia, I must say that the latest chapter has left me utterly astonished! The transformation of All Might into Armored All Might was more than just a visual treat; it was a testament to his unparalleled wisdom and humility as a teacher.

This article contains spoilers from My Hero Academia Season 7 Episode 21.

Right now, “My Hero Academia” is in its climactic Final War phase, where some epic battles are taking place. The creator is really pulling out all the stops with these spectacular showdowns. While there have been several grand fights during the Final War, the final two encounters – All Might vs All For One and Deku vs Shigaraki – are still to conclude. It’s logical that the author would save the latter for last given Deku is the main character, but the second-to-last battle is equally thrilling, if not more so, for fans.

In an unexpected twist for spectators, All Might is engaging in his final confrontation with All For One, and what seems to be a new ability emerges – Armored All Might. This power has already demonstrated some breathtaking capabilities, but there’s definitely more to uncover about it, which fans will undoubtedly get to see in the forthcoming chapters.

Armored All Might

All Might’s Newest Power

Initially, the idea of Armored All Might facing off against All For One alone sparked speculation among onlookers, as they assumed All Might, without his Quirk and seemingly weakened, wouldn’t stand a chance against All For One at the peak of his abilities. In fact, even a combined effort from multiple powerful Heroes might not be enough to subdue him, leading some to believe that All Might was bound for defeat. Yet, the moment All Might retrieved a briefcase, fans speculated it contained an extraordinary battle tool, anticipating a surprising turn in the fight.

All that was finally confirmed to the fans in the previous chapter of My Hero Academia, which saw All Might don a majestic armor all over his body and, thus, give birth to Armored All Might. Despite seeing this incredible transformation, the vast majority of the fans didn’t believe that All Might would be able to put up a significant fight against All For One. In fact, even the many characters in the manga, including All Might’s best friends, had no faith in him, yet he rose through adversity and showed everyone why he was the Symbol of Peace for as long as he was. Surprisingly, Armored All Might put up an admirable fight against All For One and even managed to overpower him, without even taking as much as a scratch himself. It was proven to the fans that Armored All Might is not one to be taken lightly and he has several powerful abilities up his sleeve already.

The Quirks Armored All Might Can Copy

All Might Uses His Students’ Quirks

In terms of combat approach, the Armored version of All Might differs significantly from the All Might fans are accustomed to. Although some of his distinctive traits remain, his battle style deviates greatly from what one might anticipate from him. Interestingly, his current fighting style shares only a few resemblances with how he fought in the past and he has integrated several Quirks into his repertoire now. To clarify, Armored All Might does not inherently possess these Quirks; rather, the power of these Quirks has been replicated and integrated into the sophisticated functions of his armor. Fans have already witnessed him wield some astonishingly powerful abilities, some so potent that even All For One, at his peak strength, was caught off guard and could only watch as they unfolded. Armored All Might carries an impressive array of formidable weapons, and there’s more to discover yet.

Initially, Armored All Might possesses a vehicle named Hercules, which serves as a combat tool for him during battles. With this car, All Might developed an incredibly robust shield, strong enough to withstand attacks even from the peak of All For One’s power. His Quirk abilities often mimic those seen in the series, such as Red Riot – a protective armor that envelops his entire body when required, inspired by Kirishima’s defensive prowess. Another ability he uses is Blackwhip, which fans recognize as a power Deku also possesses and inherited from the Sixth user of One For All. Having observed this power in action, Melissa integrated it into All Might’s own armor, enabling him to fire whips from his body that were even capable of lodging into All For One.

One remarkable skill he has is the Charge Bolt, which resembles Denki’s Quirk in function. It’s no secret that Denki can manipulate electricity in amazing ways, and with his powerful armor, All Might can conduct electric energy straight into others’ bodies. In a battle against All For One, fans witnessed him utilizing this ability effectively. Not only did it successfully jolt him, but it also hindered his regenerative abilities, enabling Armored All Might to inflict significant, continuous damage.

In addition, we saw another skill he showcased in the last chapter: Cellophane, a power he acquired from Sero. This talent enables him to draw enemies towards him and then follow up with a devastating attack. It’s important to note that this ability is remarkably effective; even All For One was unable to counter it, mainly because the electricity coursing through his body prevented him from healing.

In simpler terms, the character known as All Might, who is already heavily armored, also has a special ability called Sugar Rush. This power was originally possessed by Rikido Sato. Fans understand that Sugar Rush enhances physical strength, and this enhancement is reflected in All Might’s use of Sugar Rush too. This enhanced strength enables him to deliver powerful attacks on his adversaries, much like when he kicked All For One with great force.

As a devoted fan, I can’t help but marvel at the moment when Deku unleashed his masterful Shoot Style Smash, a move so powerful it left All For One reeling. It’s no secret that this technique is one of Deku’s specialties, and now it seems that All For One has learned from his very own apprentice and employed the same abilities against his arch-nemesis.

Future Quirks Of Armored All Might

All Might Still Has More Up His Sleeves

In the upcoming chapters, it’s plausible that Armored All Might could utilize various hidden Quirks. One potent possibility is the adoption of Bakugo’s Explosion Quirk, given its potential synergy with an armored suit. Fans anticipate that generating explosions won’t be challenging for All Might, and a move like Howitzer Impact might manifest soon.

Remember that Melissa, being an exceptionally gifted scientist, shouldn’t find it too challenging to integrate her abilities into Armored All Might’s armor. By infusing acid into his blows, Armored All Might could inflict severe damage on All For One, particularly when the latter is weakened. Perhaps, Armored All Might could also have a device similar to Earphone Jack to confuse his senses. More importantly, fans anticipate seeing more of the One For All Quirk from him, as it’s the one he’s most familiar with and it belongs to his top student. In fact, we saw him duplicate Shoot Style Smash in the last chapter, suggesting that there’s much more to come.

As a dedicated fan, I’ve got a feeling we’re about to witness the Armored Detroit Smash soon within the storyline. So far, the Armored All Might transformation has been a hit with fans, leaving us eager for more after its introduction in the last chapter. Here’s hoping the upcoming battle brings even more unexpected twists and turns!
