The original manga didn’t give these two characters the satisfying conclusion they deserved, so the author, Horikoshi, released an extra chapter – chapter 431 – along with the final volume to wrap up their story. Because this chapter hasn’t been adapted into the anime yet, Deku’s story will continue in the animated series.
