My Hero Academia: Horikoshi Officially Reveals The New Generation Of Pro Heroes

This article contains spoilers from My Hero Academia.

Fans of *My Hero Academia* are excited that the author is still sharing new details even after the manga ended last year. Although Kohei Horikoshi finished the *My Hero Academia* story, he’s since revealed a lot of interesting information about what happens afterward, like the new rankings for heroes after the time jump.

Earlier this year, Kohei Horikoshi released a large fanbook and an art book, and shared a lot more details at a *My Hero Academia* exhibition. Over the past few months, he’s given fans a lot of exciting new content, including a spotlight on the next generation of Pro Heroes that viewers have been watching grow. Following the time skip in *My Hero Academia*, these heroes are now taking the lead, though their power levels vary. Now, Oda has officially revealed which of these Pro Heroes are the strongest and who leads them.

The New Generation Of Pro Heroes Is Led By Mirio Togata

Mirio Replaced Endeavor As The Number 1 Hero

  • Mt. Lady Ranks 3rd In The Chart

The Final War in *My Hero Academia* drastically altered the world of heroes. Although Endeavor spearheaded the hero effort during the war, the leadership structure shifted afterward. While it’s unclear who took charge right after Endeavor, the author, Horikoshi, has since shown us the new generation of leaders following the eight-year time skip.

The latest chapter of *My Hero Academia* confirms that Mirio Togata has become Japan’s new Number 1 Hero and is positioned as the leader of the next generation of heroes.

A recent one-shot story from *My Hero Academia* reveals that Shoto Todoroki has risen to become the second-highest-ranked hero, right after Mirio. He’s significantly improved his abilities over time, and his compassionate personality has helped him surpass even Bakugo in the hero rankings.

I have to say, seeing Mt. Lady at number three was a bit of a surprise, but when you think about it, she’s really come into her own. She’s become incredibly powerful over the years, and honestly, she’s a hero you *have* to respect. She’s definitely moved past Kamui Woods and is now among the strongest heroes in all of Japan.

Izuku Midoriya Is The No. 4 Hero In Japan

Bakugo Katsuki Is The No. 5 Hero Right Now

Izuku Midoriya ranks as the fourth most powerful Hero in the series. He wouldn’t have achieved this without the support of his friends. After losing his Quirk, Bakugo, All Might, and his classmates worked together to create a special Hero Armor for him. This armor allowed Izuku to become incredibly strong and quickly climb the ranks to become No. 4.

Coming in at number five, just behind Izuku Midoriya, is Bakugo Katsuki. While Bakugo is exceptionally strong-possibly even stronger than Mirio, according to the author-his poor attitude holds him back, landing him at this ranking.

The *My Hero Academia* manga finished its run with a total of 431 chapters, all available on Manga Plus. While the manga is complete, the anime is still ongoing and its final season is expected to premiere later this year. You can stream the anime on Crunchyroll.
