As someone who has followed the incredible journey of My Hero Academia since its inception, I must say that the battle between All Might and All For One never fails to leave me in awe. It’s like watching two giants clash, each with their own unique strengths and weaknesses, creating a spectacle that is unparalleled in the world of anime.
This article contains spoilers from My Hero Academia Season 7 Episode 21.
In the ongoing Final Saga of “My Hero Academia,” we’re steadily approaching the conclusion. True to form for such a monumental part of the series, spectators have been captivated by some breathtaking brawls, and a large number of characters have been involved in thrilling skirmishes.
Among the major conflicts in the storyline of My Hero Academia’s Final War Saga, the central disputes often involved characters such as Shigaraki, Deku, Bakugo, Shoto, Ochaco, and surprisingly, All Might. To everyone’s astonishment, All Might made a comeback in this series! It seems that his strength remains undiminished, and his new form, Armored All Might, could potentially be too powerful due to the impressive feats he has demonstrated so far.
The End Of All Might
All Might Falls in Battle
For a considerable period in the universe of “My Hero Academia”, All Might held the title of Peace Symbol. Upon acquiring the One For All quirk from Nana Shimura, its 7th user, All Might transformed this power into his own and reached unparalleled heights. With his heroic efforts, he drastically decreased criminal activities in Japan and was admired by all as a true Hero. Only All For One, rumored to be the Demon Lord, could pose a threat to him in battle, and their confrontations throughout history have been both concealed from fans and vividly depicted by Horikoshi, culminating in significant victories.
In Kamino, spectators saw a pivotal confrontation between these two characters, which later turned out to be influential for All Might’s character development. At this juncture, he had previously passed on the One For All ability to Deku, leaving him with only remnants of its power within himself. These residual fragments were insufficient for him to battle All For One extensively, resulting in him being largely overpowered during this fight. However, in a last-ditch effort, he summoned every ounce of strength left within him and defeated All For One decisively. Ultimately, his time as the Number One Hero came to an end, as he lost his Quirk following this confrontation.
All Might’s Return In The Final War
All Might Fights All For One, One Last Time
In the climactic battle of “My Hero Academia,” also known as the Final War, the majority of heroes valiantly confronted the malevolence of All For One and his minions. Throughout this epic conflict, many heroes and student heroes had their chances to engage in battles that left fans on the edge of their seats. These confrontations were not only grand but also propelled these characters to new heights. Although viewers anticipated numerous memorable moments for most characters during the Final War Saga of “My Hero Academia,” they were taken aback by the reappearance of the Symbol of Peace. Despite overwhelming odds, All Might made a comeback in this war and staged one final heroic struggle against All For One.
At this juncture, All For One had surpassed his peak strength and possessed an unmatched power level. He was so strong that he effortlessly handled characters like Endeavor and Hawks. When no one else could stop him, All Might made a stand and faced him head-on, relying solely on a powerful suit of armor for protection. The audience eagerly anticipated All Might’s return with this armored suit to engage in battle against All For One. Following the resolution of Ochaco and Toga’s confrontation, the narrative focus shifted towards All Might and All For One, a dynamic that has since been thoroughly explored.
All Might Vs All For One
A Battle Between Arch Enemies
In the anime “My Hero Academia,” the battle between All Might and All For One stands out as the most memorable fight. These characters are among the most significant, and their rivalry is arguably the finest developed throughout the entire series. Though Deku is the main character, it’s All Might and All For One whose fights are widely regarded as the series’ best, a claim that is hard to dispute.
In every encounter, these battles ignite excitement and stir emotions that no other fights in My Hero Academia can match. And this battle has lived up to expectations, offering fans something special right from the start. As the fight commenced, we saw All Might don his armor, transforming into Armored All Might – a unique form he’s come to embrace.
As a devoted fan, I couldn’t help but anticipate the total annihilation of Armored All Might by All For One in their confrontation. Yet, it was an astounding turn of events when it seemed that All Might had the strength to face this formidable catastrophe head-on. In truth, he has been holding his own against him, a feat that left everyone in awe given he lacks a Quirk. The armor designed by Melissa has truly transformed him into an extraordinary combatant. He’s not just fighting, but channeling abilities reminiscent of his students’ Quirks. These connections forged over time serve as the fuel for this remarkable metamorphosis. This battle is proving to be more balanced than many fans initially thought, which speaks volumes about the immense power Armored All Might wields in this fight.
Is Armored All Might Too Overpowered?
Armored All Might Has Amazing Powers
As a gamer putting myself in the shoes of a character from “My Hero Academia”, I’d say it’s no secret that Armored All Might seems almost unbeatable at times. Unlike other heroes who rely on their Quirks, he’s got this high-tech armor that makes him a force to be reckoned with. Even when going up against the legendary All For One, who’s past his prime and has access to countless Quirks that could take down even mighty Heroes like Endeavor, Armored All Might holds his own. It’s mind-blowing! Fans might underestimate him, but from what I’ve seen, he can put a halt to All For One in his tracks. His replicated Quirk abilities are nothing short of astonishing.
In a remarkable turn of events, challenging All For One at his peak strength is preposterous, but it’s even more astounding given that All For One is tactically outsmarting his opponents and currently holds the advantage. All Might, however, has found a way to counter this by making All For One rely on his rewind abilities, which progressively weakens him. This strategy will eventually reduce All For One’s strength to levels below his prime. The fact that All Might is inflicting significant damage on All For One and forcing him to use his rewind powers repeatedly suggests that Armored All Might possesses an immense power level, a force not seen since the original All Might.
