My Hero Academia: The Top 10 Hero Billboard Chart JP Heroes After Chapter 431, Ranked From Weakest to Strongest

The rankings of professional heroes in My Hero Academia have changed several times throughout the series. At the beginning, All Might was widely considered the number one hero. Later, Endeavor rose to the top spot, with Hawks becoming number two. After the intense battle against the Paranormal Liberation Front, the rankings were revised once more.

Towards the conclusion of the My Hero Academia manga, Deku and Bakugo weren’t yet among the highest-ranked pro heroes – Deku had lost his Quirk, One For All, and Bakugo was still healing from severe injuries sustained while fighting Tomura Shigaraki. However, by Chapter 431, both had climbed into the top 10, allowing My Hero Academia fans to finally see a complete power ranking of the world’s strongest heroes.

Wash is About Support and Cleaning

Quirk: Clean Bubbler

  • I’ve been watching the pro hero Wash, and he’s a really amazing support hero – incredibly useful in almost any situation. He’s a good reminder that being a hero isn’t just about fighting villains. He actually uses giant soap bubbles – it’s pretty cool – to rescue people, often carrying them to safety inside the bubbles themselves.

Wash excels at rescuing injured people and evacuating those in danger from battle zones, allowing other heroes to focus on fighting without worrying about civilian casualties. However, if fans measure the top heroes solely by their fighting strength, Wash consistently ranks last among the top 10, and would likely be at the bottom of a top 20 list as well.

Nejire is Still a Top-Tier Fighter as Part of UA’s Big Three

Quirk: Wave Motion

At one point, U.A. High School had three students considered the best in their class – often called the “big three.” As expected, two of them became top 10 pro heroes, with Tamaki Amajiki ranking 18th. Nejire Hado joined Mirio in the top 10, and her success isn’t surprising. She’s just as powerful as Tamaki, but she’s braver and more determined when fighting.

Nejire’s strong personality is almost like a superpower in itself, and it’s a bigger asset than it is for Tamaki. While their Quirks are about equally powerful, Nejire is much more determined and takes charge more often. She also works exceptionally well with others, demonstrated when she trained alongside Ochaco and Tsuyu with the hero Ryukyu.

Mirko Bounced Back From Her Injuries and is Still Fighting Hard

Quirk: Rabbit

Mirko, the rabbit-themed pro hero, has always been a fiercely independent fighter who prefers to work alone. She’s unusual in that she doesn’t want or need sidekicks or teammates, and it seems to suit her well. However, she was willing to team up with other pro heroes during the battle at Jaku Hospital.

Mirko is a powerful hero, known for her strong fighting skills and incredibly sharp senses as the ‘Rabbit Hero.’ Although she once suffered severe injuries, losing her arms and legs, she recovered thanks to prosthetics and remains a formidable fighter, proving her incredible resilience and physical strength.

Best Jeanist Slipped a Little in the Rankings

Quirk: Fiber Master

Best Jeanist was once the third highest-ranked hero, following only Hawks and Endeavor. He earned this position thanks to his powerful Quirk, which allows him to control thread with incredible precision – he can use it to capture enemies or cut them apart. Like many heroes, Best Jeanist has faced serious injuries but continued fighting.

Best Jeanist’s rise from fourth to third place in the My Hero Academia anime was notable, although he later fell to sixth by the end of the series. Even so, sixth place is still a great achievement, and it’s easy to see why – Best Jeanist consistently demonstrates both a powerful Quirk and a wealth of experience.

Kamui Woods Has Come a Long Way as Part of the Lurkers

Quirk: Arbor

I remember when My Hero Academia started, Kamui Woods was already a pretty big deal – he was #7 among the pros as part of the Lurkers! It’s been awesome seeing him climb the ranks and even pass Best Jeanist. Honestly, I think it helps that he’s managed to stay out of life-or-death situations. Plus, Kamui Woods is actually younger than Best Jeanist, which means he’s still got tons of room to get even stronger – I can’t wait to see what he does next!

Kamui Woods’ ability is perfect for catching villains and stopping them from getting away – a key strength for many top heroes. He excels at capturing and subduing opponents, but he’s also capable of powerful close-combat attacks when necessary.

Great Explosion Murder God Dynamight is Stronger Yet Humber Than Ever

Quirk: Explosion

Bakugo worked tirelessly for years, determined to become the world’s top hero and follow in the footsteps of his idol, All Might. While he had the powerful ability to potentially reach that goal, he eventually accepted a place among the top 10 heroes, realizing it was a practical decision considering the strength of his rivals.

Bakugo faced near-fatal injuries, as did many other top heroes, but he managed to recover and quickly returned to hero work. Now in his 20s, he’s ranked as the #5 pro hero and seems to enjoy the position. His powerful Explosion Quirk remains incredibly destructive, enhanced by his growing experience and potential for further improvement.

Deku is Back in the Game With His High-Tech Suit

Quirk: None

Izuku Midoriya, known as the hero Deku, stepped up to take All Might’s place and wield the power of One For All, ultimately saving the world from Tomura Shigaraki. After losing his Quirk, he briefly found himself without a place among professional heroes – a surprisingly difficult experience for a main character like him. However, Deku believed the sacrifice was worth it.

Deku’s willingness to sacrifice everything for others proves he’s a genuine hero, and now he’s getting a second chance. After losing his powers, he received an advanced suit that allows him to fight in a familiar way by replicating the abilities he had with One For All. This is a well-deserved development for Deku, who has consistently proven himself as a student, teacher, and now, a hero once again.

Mt. Lady Towers Over Most Pro Heroes in the New Era

Quirk: Gigantification

Image via studio Bones.

When Mt. Lady debuted in My Hero Academia, she didn’t immediately come across as a fully dedicated pro hero. While she was brave and fought well, she also tended to be playful and not take things too seriously. She initially seemed more concerned with her appearance than with improving as a hero, which made it unclear if she would truly develop her skills.

I was so hyped to see Mt. Lady’s ranking after Chapter 431! She jumped all the way to #3, which is insane! That spot used to belong to Best Jeanist, a total legend, so it proves she’s really leveled up. It’s amazing to see her growth – she used to be exactly the type of hero Stain targeted, but now she’s pushing her limits and it’s paying off with serious power and a top-tier ranking!

Shoto Has Mastered His Quirk at Last

Quirk: Half-Cold Half-Hot

Shoto Todoroki was always destined to become a top pro hero, and he achieved that goal. While many My Hero Academia fans predicted he’d become the number one hero, he’s currently in second place, and he appears content with that. Shoto is motivated by a sense of duty, not by a desire to exceed All Might’s legacy at all costs.

Shoto has fully mastered his Quirk, skillfully combining both his fire and ice abilities into a unique freezing flame technique that surpasses anything other members of his family could achieve. This mastery allowed him to defeat the dangerous villain Dabi and prevent a catastrophic outcome.

Lemillion is Almost Like All Might’s Successor With His Quirk Restored

Quirk: Permeation

Mirio Togata was considered the most powerful of UA High’s top three students, and he was already better than many professional heroes while still in school. It looked like his incredible progress would be stopped when Overhaul damaged his Quirk, which allowed him to phase through things, but thankfully, the Quirk came back. Even without that ability, Mirio is a formidable fighter thanks to his excellent martial arts skills and refined technique.

Now that Mirio has his Permeation ability again, he’s incredibly powerful in close combat. He can move through attacks and sneak up on opponents from any angle, even appearing from underground. Because of this, Mirio quickly regained his position as the top hero – a spot he still holds today.
