The anime series “My Hero Academia” is gearing up to bid farewell to its fans with a grand finale in October 2025. In anticipation of the end, the franchise is arranging numerous treats for fans to savor the series right up until the final moments.
Fans of “My Hero Academia” have numerous events to look forward to leading up to the premiere (possibly even during its airtime), one of which includes an official artbook called “My Hero Academia Ultra Artworks.
My Hero Academia Ultra Artworks Release Date
On June 4, 2025, the My Hero Academia Ultra Artworks will hit the shelves. Interestingly, a prelude to this artbook titled Final Fanbook Ultra Age will be available a month earlier on May 2. While the name might suggest otherwise, fanbooks are official databooks that typically include exclusive interviews and other fascinating details about the series.
This artbook features numerous works of art by Kohei Horikoshi from the manga’s decade-long production, along with unique insights and commentary on the making of each piece, plus behind-the-scenes tales. The illustration on the cover, displayed earlier, is a fresh creation.
Initially planned for a 2024 release, it appears that both the fanbook and the artbook have been delayed until 2025. Regrettably, details about whether these books will be translated into English remain unavailable. However, international fans can still purchase the book from numerous online retailers. Keep in mind that all the exclusive content within the book will be written in Japanese.
My Hero Academia Exhibition Set For June 2025
Alongside an artbook, the My Hero Academia Art Spectacle is slated to debut in June 2025. The event will stretch from June 21st until August 31st. Attendees can anticipate viewing authentic manga manuscripts and sketches, anime storyboards, and exclusive anime videos (presumably made for the exhibition). As stated by Horikoshi himself, the exhibition aims to delight fans while also offering an enlightening experience for those unfamiliar with the series, providing insights into the process of creating a manga.
Additionally, they might unveil unique insights into the upcoming “Final Season” during the event, particularly on its opening or closing day, since it’s set to conclude nearly a month prior to the release of season 8. Just like the past seasons of the show, the “Final Season” is expected to premiere exclusively on Crunchyroll synchronously with the Japanese airtime. Moreover, both the English dub and subtitled versions might be made available concurrently.
My Hero Academia is available to stream on Crunchyroll, subbed and dubbed in many languages.
