I’m so excited for the return of My Hero Academia: Vigilantes! Season 2 kicks off with Episode 1 hitting the US on January 5th, 2026. We don’t have a specific time for when it’ll be available here yet, but in Japan, it’s scheduled to premiere at 10 p.m. on the same day – hopefully, things stay on track and we won’t have to wait too long after that!

New Story Arcs and New Characters

  • MHA: Vigilantes Season 2 could adapt the Osaka Incident Arc and the Sky Egg Arc.
  • Number 6 is the new villain of MHA: Vigilantes Season 2.

The first episode of My Hero Academia: Vigilantes Season 2 will likely revisit familiar faces like Koichi Haimawari, Pop Step, and Knuckleduster, reminding viewers of key moments from the previous season. It will also probably re-explain what it means to be a “vigilante” and how that differs from being a traditional hero.

The first episode will also introduce new characters, including the series’ new main villain, who is taking over from Hachisuka Kuin. Meanwhile, the black market for Ideo Triggers continues to thrive, leading to more and more spontaneous villain appearances in Naruhata. This makes the area a key location that both heroes and vigilantes need to watch closely.

The first season of MHA: Vigilantes covered four story arcs from the original manga. The upcoming second season will adapt two more arcs, beginning with the Osaka Incident and concluding with the Sky Egg arc.
