Myth Reveals He Stuck With YouTube Thanks a $4 Million Contract

As a gamer with years of experience under my belt, I can’t help but feel a tinge of nostalgia seeing Myth back on Twitch after such a long hiatus. His return, though not as explosive as we might have hoped, still brings a sense of excitement and anticipation.

After a long break, Myth resumed streaming on Twitch, with viewers eagerly welcoming him back. This marked his initial broadcast on the platform since June 2022. During this stream, the well-known content creator played Fortnite, as character OG made a comeback in the game.

His comeback at the site didn’t break any records, reaching a maximum audience of 19,500 viewers, leading numerous people to question if his presence on this platform is sustainable. Interestingly, he did share the reason for his prolonged absence – it was all about getting some financial backing from YouTube.

From the year 2022, Myth has been streaming exclusively on YouTube, where he now boasts an impressive following of 4.5 million subscribers.

It’s been lamented by some that the popularity of Myth seems to have waned over the past year. Back in August, he declared his intention to take an extended break from streaming, and just yesterday, he made a comeback. In this field, one can easily become obsolete, and many argue that the hiatus in content creation had an impact.

In February, the streamer’s audience was quite small, with fewer than 100 viewers, leading spectators to speculate about potential issues occurring backstage, often discussing their thoughts on forums such as Reddit.
