Though these antagonists possess intrigue and immense power, their criminal actions should never be overlooked or forgiven.

To put it simply, while most of Naruto’s villains faced their consequences, there’s one notable exception – Orochimaru. Some speculate that the author intentionally overlooked his wrongdoings or chose to spare him for a specific reason. However, many fans strongly feel that Orochimaru deserved punishment for his actions.

In the heat of battle, Orochimaru engaged in combat with Hiruzen Sarutobi, ultimately dealing him a mortal blow.

In the story of Naruto, Orochimaru conducted experiments on people, inflicting great suffering upon them. Yet, despite these painful setbacks, he continued undeterred, finding motivation in each failure. Similar to many characters within Naruto, Orochimaru was fixated on acquiring Hashirama’s cells and creating a suitable host that could wield his power. After countless unsuccessful attempts, Orochimaru eventually found his subject in Yamato.

Orochimaru’s Main Victims Were Kids

Upon finding the Marked Seal, Orochimaru swiftly chose to implant it in children due to its instability. Unfortunately, many of these children perished, with only a select few surviving. Notably, Orochimaru played a pivotal role in raising Sasuke Uchiha. From the outset, Orochimaru harbored an intense desire for Sasuke’s body, and he tirelessly pursued methods to ensure success. It’s clear that Orochimaru was a wicked character with no regard for morality. His primary goal was always to grow more powerful and master new abilities. Regardless of the cost in terms of people sacrificed, he seemed unbothered. But why did he eventually get caught and face punishment for his wrongdoings?

It’s plausible that the Hidden Leaf Village considered Orochimaru indispensable and chose not to execute him due to his extensive knowledge on various techniques and their reversals, which proved crucial in numerous instances. For example, it was his expertise that rescued Hashirama, Tobirama, and Minato from fatal situations. Without these three leaders, the Ninja Alliance might have lost the Fourth Great Ninja War, and Madara could have emerged victorious. This factor may have contributed to Orochimaru’s survival.

Speaking of it, Orochimaru and Kabuto are not entirely free from restrictions. They’re closely watched to ensure they don’t violate any rules, and face severe consequences if they do. As for Kabuto, he now runs an orphanage post-war, a decision by the Hidden Leaf Village that remains to be seen as wise in due course.

Did Any Naruto Villains Deserve A Better Ending?

The individual who immediately springs to mind is Itachi Uchiha, a character who found himself in a challenging predicament at the hands of Danzo. To shield his clan’s reputation and the village from disgrace, Itachi was compelled to carry out the massacre at the Hidden Leaf and accept the blame for the act. In this way, he intended for Sasuke to develop into a strong and self-reliant individual. Prior to his demise, Itachi imparted the secrets of the Mangekyou Sharingan upon Sasuke, aiming to make the transition to the newfound power smoother for him.

Here’s another option: The person who first comes to mind is Itachi Uchiha, a character who was placed in a tough spot by Danzo. To safeguard his clan and the village from negative connotations, Itachi was obligated to execute the massacre at Hidden Leaf and shoulder the blame for it. He wanted Sasuke to grow into a self-sufficient and powerful individual, so he mistreated him as part of that plan. Before passing away, Itachi shared the secrets of the Mangekyou Sharingan with Sasuke, hoping to make the process of adapting to the newfound power less challenging for him.

Lastly: The person who instantly pops into my mind is Itachi Uchiha, a character who found himself in a difficult position due to Danzo. To uphold his clan and village’s reputation, he was made to massacre Hidden Leaf and accept the blame for it. He aimed to foster Sasuke’s growth into a self-reliant and powerful individual by treating him harshly, and before passing away, he divulged the secrets of the Mangekyou Sharingan to Sasuke, hoping that it would make learning to use the new power easier for him.

Itachi, undeniably, was a character who truly warranted another opportunity for a more fulfilling life. Although Itachi can’t have a second chance at living himself, he successfully repaired his strained bond with Sasuke. Thus, he can find solace in the knowledge that Sasuke no longer harbors hatred towards him.
