In the realm of Naruto, the Kage are renowned for being some of the most formidable characters. Their influence as village leaders is undeniable, and they’re often recognized for their immense power. A typical Kage exhibits a strength that allows them to confront even the strongest adversaries, including S-Rank criminals and other powerful entities.

It’s worth noting that the Kage aren’t indestructible or supreme in the Naruto universe; in fact, there are several characters stronger than them as per Masashi Kishimoto, the series creator. Some of these characters surpass one Kage, while others exceed the combined might of the Five Kage. Without a doubt, Sasuke Uchiha is the ninja whose power eclipses that of the Kage.

Among all the ninjas in Naruto not ranked as Kage, Sasuke Uchiha is the strongest due to his special abilities. He was born with one eye ability called Sharingan, which he later enhanced to Mangekyo Sharingan, and by using Itachi’s eyes, he made this strong power last forever.

Towards the conclusion of the Naruto series, Sasuke too unlocked the formidable Rinnegan ability. This significant development catapulted him into a realm that was vastly distinct from his peers. Fans should keep in mind that when Madara was revived, he possessed such immense power that he could effortlessly overpower all five Kages present at that time. Interestingly, Sasuke’s strength transcends even that of the reanimated Madara, making him significantly stronger. Consequently, it is reasonable to assume that his power overshadows that of the Kages in Naruto’s world too.

As an observer, I’ve noticed that Sasuke’s primary competitor has always been Naruto Uzumaki, a fact well-known among fans. Previously, when Naruto ascended to the position of Hokage, it was clear that he and Sasuke were equally matched, with neither surpassing the combined might of the Five Kage. Yet, in the world of Boruto, Sasuke has once again risen above all the Kage, demonstrating his superior strength yet again.

This scenario unfolded due to Naruto Uzumaki losing Kurama’s power and being sealed away, whereas Sasuke dedicated himself tirelessly during the time jump. Despite no longer possessing his Rinnegan, Sasuke displayed such immense power that he was able to subdue Code’s eye, who boasted strength greater than Jigen and commanded an army of Claw Grimes. To give you an idea, the same formidable Jigen had evaded harm in his prior encounter with Naruto and Sasuke. Now, Sasuke can inflict damage upon characters that surpass him in power. In the present day Boruto storyline, Sasuke’s might easily outmatches the combined strength of the Five Kage, even if Naruto is part of their coalition.

In the grand scheme of things, I can see a restoration of balance between Naruto and Sasuke in the future – a pattern that’s been consistent throughout their journey. Right now, it’s evident that Sasuke has made some strides ahead, but don’t forget, Naruto isn’t far behind. However, for Naruto to catch up, he needs to break free from Daikokuten’s influence first. Only then can the balance be truly restored.
