The Naruto series is a hugely popular anime franchise, and Masashi Kishimoto created something truly enduring. People who love Naruto really connect with the main character, Naruto Uzumaki, and it’s easy to see why. Naruto Uzumaki is a fantastic character who perfectly represents perseverance and overcoming challenges. He’s so well-loved that even after Naruto finished, fans continue to watch Boruto now, often because of him.

Naruto Uzumaki concluded the Naruto series as the world’s most powerful ninja. He was officially the strongest ninja alive, with Sasuke as his only real competition, and later, he became the Seventh Hokage of Konoha, achieving his lifelong goal. Naruto’s position as the strongest was never really questioned. However, the events of Boruto have shifted things, and fans now realize that Naruto Uzumaki is no longer the strongest. His son, Boruto Uzumaki, has taken his place, and although some fans aren’t happy with this change, it appears to be the path the author, Kishimoto, is choosing.

When Naruto Uzumaki achieved Baryon Mode, he reached the peak of mortal strength. But the situation has shifted. Naruto Uzumaki has lost Kurama, and on top of that, Kawaki has sealed him away. As a result, Boruto has now surpassed Naruto as the strongest ninja.

Boruto Uzumaki was destined to become a protector as powerful as Naruto, being the central character of the Boruto series. He has now demonstrably exceeded the current strength of Naruto Uzumaki. Through training with Sasuke during the time skip, and later with Kashin Koji, Boruto has grown incredibly strong. He’s now capable of battling and defeating even the Otsutsuki clan members, which solidifies his surpassing of Naruto Uzumaki.

Even though Boruto Uzumaki is currently one of the most powerful ninjas globally-perhaps *the* most powerful-fans anticipate he’ll become even stronger.
