Natus Vincere Claims EWC Trophy and $400,000 Prize

As a dedicated Counter-Strike 2 fan, I can’t help but feel elated and awestruck by Natus Vincere‘s historic win at the Esports World Cup. Witnessing their dominance throughout the tournament was nothing short of exhilarating. Their reverse sweep against G2 Esports in the finals was a masterclass in teamwork, strategy, and individual skill that left me on the edge of my seat.

At the Esports World Cup, Natus Vincere emerged victorious, outperforming G2 in a breathtaking reverse sweep and pocketing the $400,000 reward along with 1000 Club Championship Points. The competition was nothing short of thrilling from beginning to end. Throughout the playoffs, NAVI unyieldingly prevailed against FaZe Clan, MOUZ, and ultimately, G2 Esports, becoming the inaugural champions in CS2 at the Esports World Cup.

Historic Win

As a huge fan of Natus Vincere, I can’t contain my excitement as I witness them add another victory to their impressive Counter-Strike record. This time around, their triumph is all the more remarkable because it marks their first win in the new Counter-Strike 2 tournament at the groundbreaking Esports World Cup. The fact that their name will be etched into history books and proudly displayed on the victors’ plinth in Riyadh only adds to the significance of this achievement.

In the final stages of the competition, Natus Vincere came very close to securing an easy win against G2 with a score of 13-6 on the map Inferno. Valerij ‘b1t’ Vakhovsjkyj from Ukraine was a formidable presence in nearly every round, leaving G2 struggling to keep up. His impressive performance earned him the Most Valuable Player (MVP) award for the first time and a top rating from HLTV.

As a dedicated fan of Counter-Strike 2, I’m thrilled to share that following the recent excitement in Riyadh, we have another major event on the horizon – IEM Cologne 2024, boasting an impressive $1 million prize pool. After this, there are several exciting tournaments coming up: ESL Pro League S20, BLAST Premier: Fall Final, Thunderpick World Championship, and finally, the Perfect World Shanghai Major.

It’s a good year to be a CS2 fan.
