In a game similar to Hollow Knight: Silksong, you won’t find the entire map open for exploration right away. Instead, as players venture through the land, they’ll uncover different skills that enable movement. Skills like Dash in Silksong make navigation more convenient, while others, such as wall jumping, are essential to access otherwise unreachable areas. Upon opening the controller settings, you might come across an item called Needolin. If you’re curious about what it is or how to use it, keep reading to learn all about Needolin and how to unlock it in Silksong.
How To Get Needolin Skill In Silksong (Ancestral Art)
In the game called Silksong, obtaining the Needolin skill can be achieved by locating and defeating Widow who resides in Bellhart. To accomplish this, initially, you’ll need to acquire the wall jump skill known as Cling Grip within HK Silksong first.
Upon acquiring the Cling Grip skill, make your way back to Shellwood’s bench. To locate an entrance to Bellhart, follow these simple instructions:
1. From the bench in Shellwood, head east towards the large tree and climb it using your new Cling Grip ability.
2. Follow the branches of the tree until you reach a small cave on the north side.
3. Enter the cave to find yourself in Bellhart’s entrance.
- Use the elevator by the bench to go up, or wall jump to the top of the bench room.
- Go right until there’s a dead end.
- Ascend the platforms, then wall jump to the right.
- Continue right to enter Bellhart.
After that, continue your descent within Bellhart until you come across a room marked with a bell symbol. In this room, you’ll encounter Widow, who serves as a boss character in Silksong.
As an enthusiastic gamer, I can’t stress enough the importance of acquiring the Needolin ability for a smooth transition into Act 2. To do this, you must first lift the Bellhart curse and vanquish Widow before embarking on further exploration. Happy gaming!
How To Use Needolin Skill In Silksong
Following her victory against Widow in the game ‘Silksong’, Hornet acquires the ability to utilize the Needolin. By convention, this ability can be activated using the ‘D’ key on PC, ‘Triangle’ button on PlayStation, or ‘Y’ button on Xbox. To initiate the song, simply press and hold the assigned button. However, be aware that the performance of the song will deplete some of Hornet’s Silk, so use it judiciously.
In the game Silksong, the melody of Needolin can serve multiple purposes. This includes opening circular gates on your map, which you might have encountered in earlier zones like Moss Grotto (Bone Bottom) or Far Fields. To activate this function, simply play the tune near these specific gates. The two rooms in Moss Grotto and Far Fields are named Weavenest Atla and Weavenest Cindril respectively. In Weavenest Atla, you may stumble upon a peculiar character who can assist in improving Hornet’s power.
