Netflix announced that the second season of its live-action One Piece series will debut on March 10, 2026. Fans are thrilled about the new season, especially since the first season was praised as a fantastic adaptation. Season 2 will feature five popular story arcs: Loguetown, Reverse Mountain, Whiskey Peak, Little Garden, and Drum Island.
Good news for fans! The main cast – Iñaki Godoy as Luffy, Mackenyu as Zoro, Emily Rudd as Nami, Jacob Gibson as Usopp, and Taz Skylar as Sanji – are all returning for the second season. Plus, many other popular characters from One Piece will be appearing, and Netflix has carefully selected actors to play each part. Here’s a list of everyone who’s been officially announced so far, through trailers and other promotional materials.
Miss Wednesday
This Baroque Works Agent Will Play A Huge Role In Season 2
- Debut: Chapter 103 (Manga) Episode 62 (Anime)
- Portrayed by: Charithra Chandran
The character Miss Wednesday, a key figure from the Baroque Works organization, will play a significant role in both the second and third seasons of the show. Because many viewers are new to One Piece, Netflix has intentionally avoided revealing her true identity in trailers and other promotional content.
Charithra Chandran, who you might recognize from Alex Rider and Bridgerton, will play Miss Wednesday. The trailer shows a glimpse of her character, and she strikingly resembles the original design from the anime and manga – complete with blue hair, a vibrant green costume, and her unique weapon, the Peacock Slashers. Fans are now eager to find out if Miss Wednesday’s pet duck, Karoo, will also be featured in the new season.
Nico Robin (Miss All Sunday)
Another Mysterious Baroque Works Agent Who Wields Devil Fruit Powers
- Debut: Chapter 114 (Manga) Episode 67 (Anime)
- Portrayed by: Lera Abova
Nico Robin, who goes by the name Miss All Sunday, is a character appearing in Season 2 of the Netflix series One Piece. She’ll be played by Lera Abova, a Russian-German actress – a casting choice that’s particularly fitting, as the creator of One Piece, Eiichiro Oda, has stated that Robin’s origins would be in Russia if she were a real person.
The latest trailers show Robin wearing her signature white cowboy outfit in the upcoming season. However, Netflix hasn’t shared many details about her unique power: the ability to create and control body parts from any surface thanks to the Hana Hana no Mi Devil Fruit. While a few flower petals appear in one trailer, it’s still unclear how this power will be visually represented in the live-action series, though CGI will likely be used.
Tony Tony Chopper
This Adorable Anthropomorphic Reindeer Is The Heart And Soul Of The Season
- Debut: Chapter 134 (Manga) Episode 81 (Anime)
- Portrayed by: Mikaela Hoover
When it was revealed that the second season would feature the Drum Island arc, fans immediately became curious about how Tony Tony Chopper would be brought to life. He’s a unique character – a talking reindeer who walks upright thanks to a special fruit he ate – and looks very different from everyone else in the show. Creating a believable live-action version of him was a significant challenge.
Netflix quickly put fans at ease during its TUDUM 2025 event by showing off the design for Chopper. While created with CGI, he still looks incredibly cute and convincingly like a reindeer. The show will also include Chopper’s well-known funny habits from the anime and manga, such as his forgetfulness about being a doctor and his tendency to dance when embarrassed. Mikaela Hoover, who previously voiced the adorable but sad character Floor the Rabbit in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, will be providing both the voice and motion capture performance for Tony Tony Chopper.
Smoker
This Fearless Marine Captain Will Showcase The True Power Of Logia Devil Fruits
- Debut: Chapter 97 (Manga) Episode 48 (Anime)
- Portrayed by: Callum Kerr
The first season ended with a mysterious glimpse of Smoker, and fans will finally see this famous Marine captain appear in the early episodes of Season 2, during the Loguetown Arc. He’ll be played by Callum Kerr, who some may recognize as Galad Trakand from Wheel of Time.
Smoker is a particularly noteworthy character because he’s the first one we see with a Logia-type Devil Fruit power in the series, making his smoke abilities in the live-action version really exciting to watch. The adaptation will also include details fans love, like his signature white hair and cigars. Actor Callum Kerr has confirmed that Smoker will ride his Billower Bike and that a memorable ice cream scene will appear in Season 2.
Tashigi
Smoker’s Right-Hand Woman And Zoro’s New Rival

- Debut: Chapter 96 (Manga) Episode 48 (Anime)
- Portrayed by: Julia Rehwald
Smoker is never without Tashigi, his skilled swordswoman and rival to Roronoa Zoro. Julia Rehwald will play Tashigi, and it’s excellent casting – she bears a strong resemblance to Audrey Cymone, who played Kuina.
Tashigi was once an important character in the One Piece story, especially in developing Zoro’s backstory, but she’s been largely overlooked in recent events. The new Netflix live-action series has a chance to fix this by giving her a more significant role and portraying her as a stronger, more imposing figure – much like they did with Koby in the first season.
Laboon
A Giant Whale With An Emotional Backstory

- Debut: Chapter 102 (Manga) Episode 62 (Anime)
The second season will focus on animals with heartbreaking histories, highlighted by the introduction of Tony Tony Chopper and, more significantly, Laboon. Laboon is a colossal whale who resides in Reverse Mountain, guarding the entrance to the Grand Line. Though he can’t talk like Chopper, Laboon will be central to one of the show’s most memorable and deeply moving stories.
Laboon will be brought to life with computer-generated imagery, and his design is fantastic – it’s realistic enough to be believable, but still clearly identifies him as something other than an ordinary whale. Given his history and connection to Luffy, he’s likely to be a memorable character for many viewers. Fans of One Piece are also speculating whether a character from Laboon’s past might appear in his flashback sequence.
Crocus
Laboon’s Caretaker Is A Terrifying Old Man
- Debut: Chapter 102 (Manga) Episode 62 (Anime)
- Portrayed by: Clive Russell
Laboon won’t be by himself, as he shares Reverse Mountain with Crocus, an enigmatic old doctor who cares for the Island Whale and manages the Twin Cape Lighthouse. Clive Russell, a seasoned Scottish actor known from films like Thor: The Dark World and the Netflix series The Sandman, will play Crocus.
Crocus is a somewhat silly-looking character, but the One Piece creators did a great job of making him look just like he does in the original anime and manga. He’s surprisingly important to the story, and it will be interesting to see if the second season of the live-action show explores his past. Fans are also hoping to see his famous, hilarious staring gag recreated on screen, as it’s a beloved moment from the original series.
Dorry And Brogy
Two Legendary Giant Pirates From Elbaf
- Debut: Chapter 115 (Manga) Episode 71 (Anime)
- Portrayed by: Werner Coetser (Dorry) Brendan Murray (Brogy)
One of the most interesting things about One Piece is how its world gradually becomes more imaginative as the story goes on. The beginning, known as the East Blue Saga, starts with fairly ordinary characters, but ends by introducing Fish-Men like those in the Arlong Pirates. The next part of the story will continue this trend with the introduction of Dorry and Brogy, two of the very first giants seen in the series.
Fans got a first look at Dorry and Brogy in trailers and promotional images, played by Werner Coetser and Brendan Murray respectively. Luckily, the live-action versions closely resemble their anime and manga designs. This is thanks to impressive special effects that capture their enormous size, as well as the detailed work of the make-up and prosthetics teams on their costumes, wigs, and beards. The addition of Dorry and Brogy promises to make Season 2 of Netflix’s One Piece even more exciting and memorable than Season 1.
