As a huge Shonen Jump fan, it’s been a little tough seeing some series get cancelled when they don’t quite catch on with readers. But honestly, with some of the biggest titles like Jujutsu Kaisen and My Hero Academia finishing up, it’s actually a really exciting time! It means Jump is opening the door for a ton of new manga to shine, and the magazine is really looking for the next big thing right now. It feels like a fresh start!
Honestly, right now, One Piece is really carrying this magazine, but I’m always on the lookout for the next big thing! And I think I’ve found it with a new manga called Alien Headbutt. It’s only two chapters in, but wow, it’s already making waves! The story has completely grabbed my attention, and I – along with a lot of other fans – am seriously excited to see where it goes from here.
Alien Headbutt Is A New Shonen Hit
- That Debuted On Feb 8, 2026
- Alien Headbutt Has Two Chapters Out Right Now
A new manga series, Alien Headbutt, launched earlier this February and is available to read worldwide on Manga Plus. The first chapter, “Closing Ball,” debuted on February 8, 2026, and provides a thorough introduction to the story.
Alien Headbutt currently has two chapters available, the most recent released on February 15, 2026. The story is heading in a compelling direction, and new chapters are released weekly on Manga Plus. While it could become a major hit for the magazine, it still needs time to gain traction. Its success will also depend on how the plot unfolds. You can read Alien Headbutt for free on Manga Plus, and it’s worth checking out! Despite being brand new, it’s already popular on Manga Plus, with over 90,000 views.
Alien Headbutt Showcases Wrestler Versus Aliens
I’ve noticed a trend in Weekly Shonen Jump lately – a lot of stories are starting to feature aliens! We’ve already seen it with series like Dandadan and Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo, and now there’s a new one called Alien Headbutt. It’s by Akira Inui and centers around a guy named Shirokiba. He’s always dreamed of being a pro wrestler, wanting to make his family proud – they’ve really supported him in pursuing that goal. He finally achieves some success, winning a championship, and returns to his hometown on a remote island. But something feels strange when he gets back. The island is too quiet, and it doesn’t take long to find out why – aliens have landed, and things are about to get chaotic.
The alien invaders are physically powerful, but Shirokiba manages to win a fight against one, though he’s injured in the process. What starts as a minor wound quickly becomes a serious infection. Surprisingly, this infection doesn’t harm him—instead, it unlocks a new ability, allowing Shirokiba to fight the aliens at his full strength. He discovers the island’s inhabitants are still alive, held captive inside alien cocoons, which sets up a thrilling story. The series blends this with exciting wrestling action, creating a unique feel similar to Kinniku Man. Overall, this show has a lot of promise, with a captivating plot and impressive action sequences.
Fans Must Support Alien Headbutt If They Want The Story To Continue
Despite only having two chapters so far, Alien Headbutt is starting to gain some fans. However, the first year is crucial for any new manga. If it doesn’t attract enough readers, it’s likely to be cancelled within the next year, forcing the author to end the story quickly and without a proper conclusion.
If fans want to see more of Alien Headbutt, they can support the series by reading it on official platforms like Manga Plus and purchasing the collected volumes. Continued popularity could lead to the manga continuing indefinitely, and potentially even getting an anime! Alien Headbutt has the potential to become a major hit, joining popular series like Kagurabachi and Ichi the Witch as a cornerstone of the magazine.
The next chapter of Alien Headbutt, chapter 3, will be available on Manga Plus starting Sunday, February 22, 2026. It will be free to read for all fans on the app.
