Although specifics are still scarce, it’s been confirmed that the new game mode was announced during the unveiling of Battlefield 6 in July. What has been disclosed so far is that there will be a conventional Battle Royale mode and a more competitive mode named Gauntlet.
The upcoming Battle Royale mode, though not releasing at the same time as the game, will be free to play and marks EA’s competition against Call of Duty Warzone.
