As a long-time fan of Dead by Daylight and horror games in general, I’m absolutely thrilled with the latest updates coming our way! The changes from the Public Test Build to the live servers for Update 8.2.0 are nothing short of terrifying…in a good way!

The game developer, Behaviour Interactive, has revealed upcoming modifications on the live servers of “Dead by Daylight”. Following the trial run of Update 8.2.0 on the Public Test Build, the creators of “Dead by Daylight” are making a few additional adjustments before these changes become available for all gamers.

In the multiplayer survival horror game known as “Dead by Daylight,” one participant plays as a menacing killer, while the remaining four players assume the role of terrified survivors trying to flee. Featuring famous figures from the horror genre, the game is frequently updated with fresh characters. The latest update to the Public Test Build of “Dead by Daylight” introduced several alterations for killers, along with the addition of a new survivor and killer to the game.

Following a trial period of the 8.2.0 update on the Public Test Build, it’s time for these modifications to be implemented on the main servers of Dead by Daylight. Most of what was tested will be carried over to the live environment, but certain killers and perks are undergoing slight adjustments prior to the live rollout. According to Behaviour Interactive’s most recent Reddit post, The Dark Lord, The Nemesis, and The Knight are getting a few minor tweaks to their abilities and cooldown periods. Many of these changes offer small boosts to these characters as well.

Additionally, some tweaks are being made to a few upcoming perks in Dead by Daylight before they’re released with update 8.2.0. The Dark Lord perk, Human Greed, will receive a cooldown adjustment to shorten the time between uses. Meanwhile, the Trevor Belmont perk, Exultation, is set to lose its feature that prevented players from keeping upgraded items at the end of trials. As a result, survivors can now keep any upgraded items they managed to obtain during the trial.

The next version of “Dead by Daylight” game introduces thrilling modifications, and players can soon test out the Castlevania DLC in real-time action. This allows users to assume either Dracula’s role as a killer or Trevor Belmont’s as a survivor. These characters will introduce unique new abilities to the “Dead by Daylight” universe, along with improvements to current killers and game mechanics.
