The game lets players battle waves of enemies from Halo – the Covenant and the Flood – in a fast-paced mix of roguelite and bullet heaven gameplay, promising hours of entertainment.
Though Spartan Survivors looks and feels like Halo with its familiar characters, weapons, and missions, it actually plays much like the game Vampire Survivors. This creates a fresh take on the Halo universe, even though it’s not an official Halo game. Currently, it has “Positive” reviews on Steam, but that could change as more people start playing. For some Halo fans, it might be a fun way to pass the time while waiting for Halo: Campaign Evolved to come out next year.
The Halo series is at a pivotal moment. It’s been nearly four years since Halo Infinite launched, and it took a while for that game to really hit its stride.
