As a dedicated fan, I’ve been thrilled to witness the enduring collaboration between Pokémon and Build-a-Bear for almost a decade now! The journey began with none other than the iconic Pikachu, swiftly followed by the starter Eevee from Pokémon Let’s Go. Over time, the collection has grown exponentially, welcoming an array of beloved pocket monsters into its fold.
Fast forward to 2025, and this collaboration is still going strong! So far, we’ve seen some amazing additions like Yamper, Wooloo, Wooper, and even a Jumbo Gengar join the lineup. It’s truly been a dream come true for us fans!
Pokemon Build-a-Bear Announces Newest Creation
Currently, a new addition is being announced in the collection – Litten, the fiery starter from Pokemon Sun and Moon. As of now, Litten isn’t available for purchase on the Build-a-Bear website but an option to be notified when it becomes available is provided. Alternatively, potential buyers can check back manually on September 18 as this will be the date when Litten is added to the store. Since there’s likely to be high demand for this plush toy, ardent Litten fans are advised to take action and secure one before it sells out.
As a gamer excitedly waiting for my latest acquisition, I can tell you that Build-a-Bear has given us a sneak peek at the upcoming Litten plushie. Though it’s only a partial reveal, we get a good idea of what’s coming. Standing on all fours with its characteristic grimace and a tail held high, Litten resembles its in-game counterpart quite closely.
What catches my eye is the coat or pajama outfit adorned with an orange and yellow geometric pattern, complete with Poke Ball logos similar to those that have graced other Pokemon Build-a-Bears. The website doesn’t specify if this will be included in the final product at the time of publication, but considering previous releases, I’m hoping that Litten will come dressed as shown.
Lastly, let me share a feature that has always been a hit with fellow gamers – the 5-in-1 sound chip. If history repeats itself, the Litten plushie will ship with this nifty device, allowing it to play five random voice clips of the Pokemon. Fingers crossed for a fun-filled experience!
