A recent leak from the upcoming Pokemon Legends Z-A is revealing a new Mega Evolution coming for a classic Pokemon, with Victreebel reportedly receiving a Mega form. The highly-anticipated follow-up to Pokemon Legends: Arceus gave fans plenty to be excited about last month with its first major trailer. The video revealed the trio of starter Pokemon players will be able to choose from, alongside teasing several other creatures that players will be able to find throughout the game’s version of Lumiose City. Now, one particular Pokemon is set to receiving a major boost within the game.

In the upcoming game “Pokemon Legends: Z-A,” both The Pokemon Company and Game Freak have unveiled a diverse collection of Pokemon that will appear within it. Notably, The Pokemon Company has revealed certain Pokemon who are expected to undergo Mega Evolutions in this game, such as fan-preferred ones like Lucario, Charizard, and Gardevoir among others. Additionally, “Pokemon Legends: Z-A” will include numerous Pokemon native to the Kalos region as part of its diverse creature roster, with the trailer offering a sneak peek at creatures such as Fletchling, Skiddo, and Honedge’s evolutionary lines. However, recent leaks suggest the possibility of a new Mega Evolution yet unseen in previous games.

Pokemon Legends Z-A Leak Teases New Mega Evolution

A new leak shared by prominent leaker CentroLeaks is teasing a new Mega Evolution coming in Pokemon Legends: Z-A. According to the post, citing a previous teaser from fellow leaker Khu, Victreebel will be the newest Pokemon to receive a Mega Evolution following the release of Legends: Z-A. While being a staple of the franchise since its inception, appearing prominently in the Pokemon anime, Victreebel did not receive a Mega form during the franchise’s 3DS era. Victreebel can also briefly be seen within the recent Legends: Z-A reveal trailer, shown in the party of one of the player characters.

The addition of Mega Victreebel to Pokemon Legends: Z-A marks a significant shift in the game’s lineup of Pokemon, as it may be the first new Mega Pokemon not previously seen in any of the Pokemon series’ Mega Evolution games. This could imply that additional new Megas might soon appear as well.
