New Nintendo Device Filed With FCC

As a seasoned gamer with over two decades of gaming under my belt, I can’t help but feel a mix of anticipation and curiosity upon hearing about this new Nintendo device. It’s not the Switch 2 we all have been eagerly waiting for, but it certainly sparks intrigue.

It seems that Nintendo has submitted a new gadget for approval at the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), yet this device doesn’t appear to be the rumored next-generation Nintendo Switch console, also known as the Nintendo Switch 2. Rather, based on what Nintendo has revealed, it appears this could possibly be an accessory or peripheral.

Based on documents submitted to the FCC, the company has categorized this gadget as a “wireless device.” Notably, they haven’t labeled it as a controller or gaming console. This hints that it might be an accessory of some kind instead.

The fact that it doesn’t have a traditional battery and can only be powered via USB-C cable adds more weight to its authenticity. Additionally, it supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi connectivity.

Based on its current description, it’s clear that there isn’t enough information to identify exactly what this device might be. However, it’s reasonable to assume that it’s not the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2.
