In January 2025, three additional Super Nintendo (SNES) games were introduced to the Nintendo Switch Online service, marking the second batch of such games added this year. The newly included titles are Fatal Fury 2, Super Ninja Boy, and Sutte Hakkun. It’s reasonable to expect that more SNES games, as well as those from other platforms featured on the service, may be added to the Switch Online subscription later this year.
2025 looks promising for Nintendo, as they are planning to release their long-awaited Nintendo Switch 2 gaming console. It’s speculated that the Switch 2 might offer an upgraded Switch Online experience, though specifics are yet to be confirmed.
