The new Steam game, Cozy Crest, appears to combine the relaxing farming and life simulation of Stardew Valley with magical powers inspired by Avatar: The Last Airbender. Following the huge success of Stardew Valley ten years ago, many similar life-sim games have been released. Fans of the genre are always eager for something new and exciting to play, and Cozy Crest might just be it.
I’m a huge fan of those relaxing farm sims like Stardew Valley, and it’s cool how each new one tries to do something a little different to stand out. I’ve been hearing about Grave Seasons, and it sounds wild – apparently, one of the villagers is a secret serial killer! That’s a pretty dark twist for this type of game. But Cozy Crest is going in a totally different direction, letting you use magic to help with your farming. It’s neat to see such varied ideas within the same genre.
Cozy Crest is an Upcoming Steam Game With Serious Stardew Valley Vibes
I’m so excited for Cozy Crest to come out on Steam later this year! The coolest part is you can use powers based on Water, Earth, Fire, and Air – kind of like in Avatar: The Last Airbender – to help run your farm. You can use Earth to quickly get fields ready for planting, and Water to irrigate your crops. Air lets you fly around, and Fire… well, Fire is great for clearing things like trees! It all sounds really fun and unique.
In Cozy Crest, players balance farm work with building homes and exploring a vast open world. They can also ride horses and get to know the game’s characters – twelve of whom are available to romance, and even marry! It hits all the familiar notes of a relaxing cozy game, but adds a touch of magic.
Like many relaxing games, Cozy Crest will let you play with friends. You can enjoy it on your own, or with up to four players in co-op mode. Currently, there’s no firm release date, though the developers are aiming for a 2026 launch. Hopefully, we’ll find out exactly when it’s coming soon so players can prepare to jump in!

I’m super excited for Cozy Crest, but while we wait for more info, there are so many other cozy games on Steam to keep us busy! If you’re looking for something with a similar feel, there are a lot of really nice 3D cozy games. But honestly, there’s an even bigger selection of 2D games like Stardew Valley if that’s more your style. And the good news doesn’t stop there – Steam has a bunch of brand-new cozy games planned for release later in 2026 and beyond, which is awesome!
