The December Job is a Christmas-Themed Horror Game

Kooky Kontent Games launched its first game, The December Job, on December 12th. This Christmas-themed survival horror game puts players inside a gloomy Santa’s workshop where they must collect presents and candy canes while avoiding Santa himself, who is trying to stop them from stealing. The game features intentionally old-fashioned 3D graphics, mimicking the look of PlayStation 1 games. The December Job is available on Steam as a free download and is a small game, only needing 250 MB of space.

Kooky Kontent Games’ Steam page shares details about the making of their game, The December Job. The studio explained they began development in mid-November as a self-imposed challenge to release a horror game during the holiday season. They also plan to keep supporting the game after launch by fixing bugs, especially those that prevent players from progressing. Early reviews on Steam have been mostly positive, with many players enjoying the game’s funny dialogue and straightforward, yet fun, stealth gameplay.
