The new MMORPG, Sword of Justice, is currently available for free on Steam, but it’s received a lot of negative feedback. Many players were excited about the game because it promised a fair experience without the ability to pay for advantages, making its rocky launch particularly disappointing.
Players were initially very excited about the MMO Sword of Justice because early test versions received good reviews. Content creators who tried it liked how the game looked and felt, especially that it didn’t seem to rely heavily on pay-to-win tactics. But since the game officially launched, many players on Steam have been sharing negative feedback.
Sword of Justice Steam Reviews Are Not Looking Good
ZhuRong Studio released their new free-to-play MMO, Sword of Justice, on Steam on November 5th, with servers going live worldwide on November 7th. Since launch, the game has received over a thousand reviews, but around 49% of them are negative. Players generally agree the game has good graphics and potential, but many are frustrated with several problems. Some reviewers say Sword of Justice feels like a mobile game that hasn’t been properly adjusted for PC, and others complain that waiting periods for certain activities are slowing down progress. These are just some of the issues currently affecting the PC version of Sword of Justice.
A Steam player pointed out that the game appears to be a simple port of the mobile game Justice Online, just rebranded for PC. The mobile version isn’t doing much better, with ratings of 2.9 on Google Play and 3.9 on the App Store. The developer, ZhuRong Studio, hasn’t responded to the growing negative feedback, particularly on Steam, where the number of negative reviews is quickly surpassing the positive ones.
Okay, so Sword of Justice isn’t a total flop, honestly. A lot of us who play it really love how beautiful it looks and the huge world you can explore, especially considering it’s a free-to-play game on Steam. I’ve also noticed a lot of players saying the developers, ZhuRong Studio, have done a great job making it accessible for casual players. It feels like a fun grind where you’re actually rewarded for playing, not stressed out about keeping up or missing limited-time stuff.
The game Sword of Justice has been downloaded over 40 million times in Asia and gained millions of pre-registrations in Western countries before its worldwide release, indicating a strong initial audience. However, it’s unclear if ZhuRong Studio can overcome recent negative feedback and keep players engaged with future updates, or if the game will ultimately fade into obscurity like many other online role-playing games.
